At least the Bruins are some play with some heart.

He say that every time we lose. Obviously a bandwagoner.

Bet you're gonna say the same thing if the Bruins lose tonight, huh?

this is a bad match up for boston....the philly win at cleveland really hurt the C's...one half to save the season....really...if they lose home court by losing game one...they are in trouble...call me a debbie downer but after watching them the last 6 weeks...this game follows the trend to a T...

Um....

That was an embarasment of a first half...and maybe its even more embarrasing they got booed off the floor

I dont think they get out of this round after that mess

Playoff experience is offically the most overrated thing ever...the bulls have none...the bulls are playing like they have it all and we're basically choking right now...way to go guys

Paul Pierce has been off from his very first shot, which he rushed. Did you hear them talking about how we CANT play Stephon and Eddie together deeper in the playoffs? ESPN doesn't really know anything that isn't seen in a boxscore or minute and a half long game recap.

I think they'll be okay -- it just seems like they need to get their playoff legs under them.  (And maybe drink an espresso or two.)  It's a feeling-out period.  But Rondo, Perk and Powe are playing well -- you know Pierce and Ray will find a way to step up, and hopefully Doc will adjust the rotations as needed and Thibs will sort out the defensive problems.

Ray and Paul haven't had any kind of impact yet...
both can turn it on and hopefully they do!
i can see the c's going to the ecf without garnett, but i can't even see them getting past chicago wihtout any of the big three showing up to play...

They better come out with a strong 3rd quarter. They're just making it harder on themselves for the long run with these slow starts.

The Truth shall set you free.

Yeah the way some of the fair-weather fans are on this board is ridiculous. We played a bad half... it happens. Even if we lose this game, I still DEFINITELY believe we will beat the Bulls.

But, like I just posted, idk if we can beat the Magic without KG, and that statement has absolutely nothing to do with the terrible half we just played.

but the slow starts are concerning...it has really become an issue the last few weeks...they can't keep doing this

What a stinker of a first half.  I normally hate booing a successful team, but this performance absolutely deserved it.

I still feel good though - as bad as we've played, we're still in it, and we've actually gotten some good shots that just won't drop.  If we can play D the way we did toward the end of the 1st, we'll be in good shape down the stretch.  If not, well...the wakeup call gets a lot louder.

The Celtics haven't been playing Celtics basketball.  They have more turnovers than assists.  They are not moving the ball.  Ray and PP are cold (2-11)  You know that they are going to heat up at some time.  They need to get it together at halftime and come out and play some team ball and team defense.  The 3rd quarter is ours.

That's how you can tell a lazy announcer who doesn't prepare -- looks like we have two of them for this game.
