So what exactly happened today?

This is why I was completely against playing any of the starters except temporary BBD. There was nothing to gain by this game. A win was very unlikely. They now think that they own us. If I am one of the Celtics I have to have a little doubt creeping into my mind even if I won't admit it. We did nothing but make them feel better about themselves, and us feel worse. They should have sat.

You know, it's disappointing because of the effort.  But man oh man, could we have gotten more motivation for the ECF (which we will make) than that sick display of dancing and posing, etc. from the Cavs during that game?

While pros don't need that to motivate them most of the time, this may just be what makes us mad enough to go in there and win one of the first two in a conference finals series.  I know that this will come up again and be shown them as we near that almost unavoidable matchup.  

This is the one positive I'm taking from it.

TP to you Racker. I was thinking that as well. Unfortunately I didn't see a lot of anger on PP's face. Ray yes. I am sure KG was back in the locker room destroying Cav property. Maybe they can use the embarrassment as motivation. They should be ashamed. Especially that starting 5.

this game reminded me of game 3 last year....the cavs are a bunch of clowns dancing and strutting...they havent  been there before and it shows....just go to the bench and high five....whatever...

boston decided to stay in boston today...at this point just rest the starters...cavs in cleveland will be an uphill battle...they are 2 different teams on the road and at home

I agree with you...give the starters, especially Ray and Paul, the next 2 games off.  Everything is clinched that can be clinched, there's no reason to play them.  At least give them the next game off, and play them the last game to get a rhythm with KG in there.

Either way, I'll be happy with that.

I wouldn't want to give pierce and ray the last 2 games off. I think that would just be irresponsible. Maybe limit there minutes to 30 each or something but why would they want to end their regular season on that note? I would rather them continue to get back into the groove they were in before this cavs game so we can still have some momentum and feel for the game. Especially with KG most likely playing the finale I would definitely want our starting team out there at least for 20-30 depending on how KG is. I wouldn't want to sit Ray and Paul for two full games right before the playoffs just cause i would be worried about their rust and routine..

TP back at ya. You should realize that PP probably didn't see a lot of that BS like us at home did.  However, you hit the nail on the head about KG seeing it.  Oh, and that ain't the guy to let see it LeCrab.

By the way...does Anderson V have testicles?  I think Ray answered that for us today.  Not even a flinch?  BBD hits him in Boston across the wig and he is dying.  Ray Ray elbows him in the nads and nothing?  Wow.

-The Sox lost again because they simply could not get a single timely hit.

-And every golfer I was rooting for in the Masters absolutely choked.

Looking back I put off a boatload of schoolwork, and Easter dinner to waste my entire day watching disappointing sporting events. The only game I didnt watch was the Bs game which they won. Go figure. Sorry...rant over.

For a game that meant absolutely nothing for the Celts, the fact that no one got injured is a victory in my mind. Suprised the bench didn't get more minutes.

Cavs need to keep winning to hold off the lakers, Celts had no reason to play.

The celtics shooting was way off tonight.
In the 3rd PP missed 2 wide open 3s, they looked worse then anything I have seen him put up all season.

Although disappointed I am not woried, after 2 rounds in the playoffs I expect them to be playing much better.  Maybe I am overly optimistic, but I think the Cs playoff matchups look pretty good for challanging the team but not bad enough that they end up fatiged.  It will be a hell of a series with the Cavs, but I have confidence in the big 3 in the clutch.

The Celtics didn't come to play.  The Cavs were way hyped for this game.   This wasn't any more than when the Cavs lost by 30 to the Magic.  Just one game where one team had a horrible game and the other played near perfect.  No more no less.

he played in those 5 games in cleveland last year we lost, and also was completly healthy when we got blown out in cleveland earlier this season....

this team can beat the cavs without KG, and already have...thats NOT excuse enough for todays performance

the cavs havent been there? huh? they made the finals 2 seasons ago and were the defending champs toughest series last season....theyve 'been there'...not to mention the celtics arent much better when it comes to showboating...jus sayin
