This is another case of a harmless comment by Marbury being spun around so people can shout "discontent."

it's hard to get your shot on when your not guarunteed touches. he's probably overthinking every shot knowing that if he misses, he might not get the ball again.

If that's what he's thinking, I don't think it's founded in reality.  Starbury has gotten consistent minutes since he's been here; it's not like Doc has been jerking him around, or sitting him down as soon as he makes a mistake. With the exception of last night, he's played at least 12 minutes in every game since he's signed here, and he's played over 15 minutes 9 times.

In his short time here, Starbury has averaged roughly the same number of minutes as Eddie House and Leon Powe.  The thought that all Starbury needs is minutes to get it together is simply contrary to the facts.

He didn't play in the 4th quarter. I think Doc realized he wouldn't help them there.

No matter what the reason (age, being out so long, just no longer good), the fact is at this moment, Marbury is not the player the Celtics need.
