Hey I hope I'm wrong I'm just tempering my enthusiasm for a guy with one skill...being a deep threat. Then again Randy Moss came in with a similar skill set (in addition to height, freakish athleticism, and a sixth sense for the ball) and went on to improve in many areas of the game upon arrival. I just dont see him staying healthy enough at his age. I would have liked a guy like Torry Holt who is more dynamic but he was probably too expensive. Anyway, I am aware of the type of player Galloway is. He has great natural gifts and hopefully he can take what is left in the tank and expand his game to really contribute to this team. Im just not holding my breath.

Could Stallworth do that much more than run deep routes?

Honestly, with the Pats current recieving corp (including their RB's and TE's), what they really needed was a second deep threat that defenses needed to honor.  I think Galloway was a great, cheap pickup.

exactly.  If moss and Galloway run deep routes, and defenses treat moss the way they have since he has been here, the safety will roll his coverage to moss.  Galloway will likely be one on with with a teams 3rd cb, or Welker will be running underneath against a teams 3rd cb.  either way, I like that matchup.
