I did not like the Marbury pickup at all. Still somewhat concerned over whether or not this will work. But at this point as CoachBo pointed out, if we wanted a better option we should've picked one up before the start of the season. I may not like Marbury but Sam Cassell is certainly no alternative whatsoever. I'm HOPING that Starbury can put it together and maybe its just a matter of knowing what to look for in certain sets. He had a decent game yesterday against Memphis. I'm definitely not as assured like other posters that he'll be fine in a few practices by a longshot but I'd like to believe it's that simple.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...

Gabe Pruitt could have been just as productive with those minutes.
I find this notion extremely comical, especially given that 9 points and 5 assists would have both been career highs for Pruitt.

If Pruitt could have been "just as productive", how come he has never been?

Pretty much my feelings. Didn't really want him, but if he can just play half-decent, he'll help. Cassell was a washed-up player last year, whereas Marbury isn't that old. Plus Marbury is more skilled than Sam ever was.
Still have my doubts, but keeping my fingers crossed.

There is a stat and comment worthy of a TP! Remember though. Many people on here believe in stats when it suits them and "intangibles" when it doesn't... Nice post.
