For the 17th man on a 16 player roster, I take King of Summer League, Derrick Caracter.  I trust Mitch Kupchak's drafting skills more than David Kahn, who ended up with the other guy I was considering.  

If Caracter was on the board for my final selection today, I would have drafted him.

And then cut him. Because he's a Laker.

from a skill point I think Caracter is a player. But, there won't be much fantasy value for him as long as LA has Gasol.Bynum.
