I am glad took out Marbury, he was killing us defensively

His defense reminds me of Dan Dickau.

Well, tough call there for Powe. What I'm more worried about is Rondo and BBD. We need those guys. :(

wow, seriously refs?

Im so tired of this crap with NBA refs. Thats a no call.

No one came to watch you decide the game with 30 seconds left. Let the players decide it, dont call a retarded foul off the ball to gift wrap the game for a team. ridiculous.

NBA officiating is a huge problem, and takes it from being taken seriously. and the league seems not to care.

what was the call?

Marbury's stat line looked awful... I didn't see the game did he play as badly as it looked on paper?
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

i don't this so....

I'm glad they took him out so that we could have a unit that knew more plays.

Powe apparently fouled Rashard Lewis by virtue of the fact that he didn't move aside to let him waltz to the basket. All this was happening off the ball with 24 seconds on the clock and a 3 point lead for the Magic.

45 for Pierce/ 46 for Ray. I think Doc needs to make it a point to not have them play all half regardless of the score. It could be the difference in making their shots at the end.

Well, disappointing loss especially after this great comeback by Ray but I loved the determination of the Celtics.

However it puts the team a little more beyond the Cavaliers for the HCA race and BBD joins Rondo, KG, Scalabrine and T. Allen to the infirmary...

There are 2 days of rest coming. I don't think it will be that big of a problem.

How wasn't that a foul? Leon was holding the guy's arm. I understand the "let the players decide the game late" reasoning, but they still need to enforce some rules. You can stop a guy from cutting by chesting him, but not by using your arms to hold him. Otherwise, you wouldn't see any off-the-ball action in the last minutes and teams would have a very hard time scoring.

The 4th foul on Howard was the worst in the game.

League Pass blacked out the game because I guess I am in the Orlando area, which isn't too bad if the Sunshine channel carries the game, but they didn't have it on!    So I had to scramble to find it on League Pass Broadband  I can't believe they blacked it out when Sunshine didn't even carry the game.

I don't think you can blame The C's for this loss. Our whole team is injured... and we still had a shot to tie the game against a *supposed* contender. We we're at such a disadvantage today, the fact that we made it close is impressive.

Rondo-out
KG-out
Davis-out
Scal-out

Orlando

jameer nelson-out

And we almost stole the game.

Good reffing down the stretch too, btw.  ::)
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

just goes to show you...Orlando has got nothing on us. Almost lost with 4 of our starters/rotation players out. You really can't fault this team for anything today. Not even Marbury. How many hours before game time do you think he knew he was starting?

Anyone watching Dwight howards postgame? he said something about sending us a message...I dont know.. the only message I got is we're still way better then them...down 2 starters, key bench players, shouldve had no way to win the game, and still had a chance at the end

The thing is, Lewis grabbed Leon, not the otherway around. Leon had his arm out and Lewis wrapped around him and made a show of being held up, when really Leon did nothing but get in his way a little. Total acting job that didn't warrant a foul call, especially in such dire circumstances.
