first off were getting are butts kicked in the paint, we are playing like a bunch of doris burkes out there, BUT i saw something the last two mins that ive been screaming at the tv about since the game started, something you guys could look at too, we have that pick and pop we run with Z, we ran it with z a few times and he nailed it and then i saw we were running it and when the celts collapsed on z lebron got the dunk and mo the three, watch to see if we go back to it and how you guys react to it, i also hope we come out and put a body on bbd and perk, good luck, talk to ya guys after the game

I hope you realize the cavs wouldn't be in this game if the refs weren't completely cheating. The celtics regularly get screwed by the refs but nothing like this. Stern runs a corrupt league, Lebron gets all the calls its sickening, Mo williams gets more calls then paul pierce? ray allen?

Last statement was completely unnecessary.  Don't attack fans of other teams, especially when they are being respectful when visiting.  wdleehi

Celtics fan final analysis:

Despite attempts by the refs to make
sure the game stayed close, the NBA
Champion Boston Celtics didn't
falter in winning the game  ;) ;D

Thanks for posting on Celticsblog - I always like hearing intelligent thoughts from the opposing fans.  TP

Of course he doesn't come back. He was only going to come back if his team won.

LeBron has a tough night, imo when he plays bad it leaves them completely exposed to losing easily. If we had shut down Mo also it would have been twice as painful but the game was still close for a long time. Nice to hear from you tho LBJ it's nice to discuss topics in a friendly manner...with the enemy..but your lucky your not a Laker fan thats a TOTALLY different story.   :P
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

Its tough to post online after a loss in a big game, I often avoid CB after a bad loss myself.

I bet he'll be back tomorrow or the next day.

All of his posts have been very respectful so there's really no need to get on him for anything. I wouldn't want to post after a loss like that either.

not to be a prick but i really think were gonna win big and to do it in boston would be great, i try to watch all your guys games on the computer and it seems the celtics are really struggling with lesser teams and having a tough time pulling out a win, if they play like they played against the clips and nets against us it will be a blow out, i dont know how many of you guys watch our games but delonte west is a beast, his struggling a little with his shot since coming back from his injury but before that broken wrist he was 40 plus from the field and three, the way he can defend bigger guards is crazy, also last night against the bucks he had 8 steals, why did the celts get rid of him, any way love to get your guys thoughts and lets hope we get a eastern conf finals preview friday

Him from the other thread. Proclaim they were going to smack us and maybe even blow us out. The least he could have done was come back and say good game. But of course not he takes the cowardly way out.

I rarely use strong words on CelticsBlog and I'll try to use restraint, but this is pure bull crap. Why do people have to complain like there is some conspiracy by the refs against a particular team? Fans from every single freaking team say the same stupid crap. What, are the refs and David Stern conspiring against every team? It makes no sense.

I'm as much of a Celtics homer as anyone, but I watched that game like everyone else and I saw ZERO evidence of biased reffing. Good gosh. Sure, there were some questionable calls, but there are always questionable calls. And the calls went both ways.

Quit complaining about the refs - it's freaking pathetic...

[end of rant]

On a different note, great win tonight!!

Points in the Paint: Cavs - 22, Celtics - 58
Free Throw Attempts: Cavs - 38, Celtics - 12

Normally I'd agree with you, Hoops, but I think your post above shows that you simply didn't pay close enough attention to the game. I'm not going to agree or disagree with the conspiracy theories that have been thrown out there, because I am in no position to speculate about how true they are. But just looking at the stats, you can see that the calls definitely didn't go both ways. Tonight, the refs were horrible, and I'm not sure how you could say you watched and saw zero evidence of biassed reffing when you take a look at the stats above.

I agree that they were letting the Cavs get away with more bumping and shoving in the paint. But a large part of that disparity is when the Cavs went inside he fouled them hard to prevent layups. When we went inside often they just let us lay it in.

Still Pierce should have gone to the line about four more times, Powe/Perk/Baby should have gotten a few more as well.
