whats up celtics fans, i dont know about you guys but im really pumped for friday, i hate that kg isnt playing cause i would like both clubs to be at full strength
just want to discuss and get opitions on friday, big ben still out so wild thing will get the start and joe smith is coming off the bench, not to be a prick but i really think were gonna win big and to do it in boston would be great, i try to watch all your guys games on the computer and it seems the celtics are really struggling with lesser teams and having a tough time pulling out a win, if they play like they played against the clips and nets against us it will be a blow out, i dont know how many of you guys watch our games but delonte west is a beast, his struggling a little with his shot since coming back from his injury but before that broken wrist he was 40 plus from the field and three, the way he can defend bigger guards is crazy, also last night against the bucks he had 8 steals, why did the celts get rid of him, any way love to get your guys thoughts and lets hope we get a eastern conf finals preview friday

In terms of why the Celtics traded Delonte, it was to get Ray Allen.  That worked out well for them.

As for why Seattle decided they had no use for him, that's a good question.  Delonte is a gamer.

The Celtics have been struggling lately because they're playing without one of their top players, as well as the guy who generally replaces KG in the starting lineup (Scalabrine).  The rotation is screwed up, and that is exacerbated by trying to work in two new players, one of whom hasn't played in over a year.

I know the Cavs have injuries, but missing Wallace and Pavlovic isn't the same as missing KG.  I expect the Cavs to win on Friday (although I don't think it will be a blowout), but I don't think that tells up much about how the two teams match up when healthy.

First, they got rid of Delonte because they got Ray Allen in return and kept Rondo. The bigger question is why in the world did Seattle/ OKC get rid of him? I love Delonte, he's a good get for the Cavs.

As far as the clippers game goes, The clippers are a ridiculously underachieving team with an above average big man rotation and we lost by two without our primary post defender. Not the worst thing in the world.

The Pistons game was to a team that took two games from us in the ECF ( after we beat the Cavs  ;D). They have played much better sans Iverson, much closer to the Pistons we all know and hate. There is the argument that this team doesn't have Chauncey, but last year Chauncey wasn't very effective in the ECF because of an injury.

As for Friday, I'm less scared then others on this blog because A) The Cavs bigs aren't as offensively gifted as the Zach Randolph, Rasheed or McDyess. B) This is still a team, even without KG, that  has three legitimate all star candidates C) This team, as evidenced by tonights clutch displays by the two all stars, are mentally gearing up for the playoff run.

Then again, if you stick around,  you'll find I'm one of the least pessimistic members of the blog ( Somewhere just behind Edgar and Redz).

He's still not consistent on his jumper. I'm actually happy he's driving to the hoop more now that teams are actually defending his jump shot some.  Well plus who wants to take a charge from Big Baby, are two points worth your life?

I like Z and Smith's shooting, I just don't think you an leave the two of them on the floor together like you can McDyess and Rasheed, so that's why I'm not as afraid. Baby's jumper is developing which is nice because its keeping the starting units spacing with KG out.

Am I the only one who has no idea who "wild thing" is?  Did the Cavs sign Ricky Vaughn to shore up the rotation?

I'm assuming Varejao.
