Hubie Brown has got to be one of the worst announcers throughout the NBA IMO. I was wondering how others felt about him?

I really like Hubie. I think his knowledge of the X & O's is enlightening. I also likes how much he talks about role players, it shows to me that he studies the tape of the teams before they play.

yeah I mean any guy who doesn't yell at the officials on every call doesn't deserve to be on the sideline  ::)

Hubie does his homework on each and every player in the NBA...being a xplayer/coach,he does tell us a little to much at times, but i like him,he knows the game and is a very intelligent guy.

I love me some tommy for Celtics games, but if I watch anybody else play I like to listen to Hubie.

I like him better than the Breen/Jackson/Van Gundy clowns who all they do is ridicule the celtics and their bench and talk about how great the cavs and lakers are for 48 minutes

I agree with you 100%,i hate Breen with a passion...did you notice in the finals when we blew the Fakers off the court in last game, all three went silent.

I don't mind Hubie. He gives intelligent commentary but his constant mispronouncing of player's names drives me crazy.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Eh he's sort of dull with his announcing. JVG, MJ, and MB are the best imo for announcers.
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

Van Gundy, he's good - Mark Jackson, not bad, but that dude who did that thing with RuPaul? He's a hack

Hubie is a class act.  I always enjoy listening to him talk basketball, and call a game.

They had no words. None at all. The satisfaction I felt in defeating the Lakers was rivaled only by the satisfaction I had in defeating Mike Breen. When TA had that reverse alley-oop, I wondered aloud, "where's the "bang", Mike? Hmm? No shouts of ecstacy when the Celtics score basket after basket? Hmm? Yeah, suck it."
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I actually remember Van Gundy going off on the Lakers and how it was one of the worst display he'd ever seen. Van Gundy lit in to them the entire game.

"Tieshawn" Prince today was kinda funny.
