boston needs to figure out a way to win in cleveland because they are going to have to get one there...not too concerned about not having home court i the nba finals b/c of the 2-3-2 format...i don't really worry about the second round match up with the magic if they are a 2 seed......but the turnovers are just too high this late in the season
We couldn't do it last season, playing our best,do you think we can do it this season, when Cleveland is much better and we are worse....????Heck no....

we're worse? we actually had the same exact record we had last year coming into this game bro..with a much tougher schedule...a loss to the disgustingly pathetic clippers doesnt help..but with BBD/Perk being our starting frontcourt...we're gonna be a mediocre basketball team

I'd say mentally we're worse, Cleveland wants to dismember us in the playoffs for last years game 7. LBJ seems hungrier this year and so does his team. We're having trouble matching teams in the "mental" category. I STILL know we can beat them though, but they need to play HARD to win those games.

dont like detroit in the first round...but do like avoiding atlanta in the second. i think the team realizes they are going to be a 2 seed and will be happy if they survive these injuries...and i think Scal is done for the year

How is it possible you win a championship and become a mentally weaker team? not buying that

ugh, I need to go to bed

I'm basically saying the Cavs are hungrier then us and so are the lakers. A quote from rocky 3 also kicks the back of my mind "The worst thing that can happen to a fighter is he becomes civilized" Last years hunger for a title does not match this years im afraid.

I'm not that worried about homecourt. Even with the Celtics arguably not playing well for stretches this season the others can't seem to hold on to the best record. They've had a tough schedule this month and gone 7-4 amid some egregious officiating.
It sucks to lose to the Clips but they could still make it. Their schedule gets easier and the defense noticeably improves when they get practice time.

Last year we made most of our losses against bad Eastern teams(yep, the losses against the Wizards didn't shock me last year) but we dominated the Lakers and generally all the Western good teams! This year we have lost some pretty important games, against the Lakers, the Spurs, the Cavs... I still can't remember a statement performance against a title contender(I don't see the Magic as title contenders btw...)!!

And after all, c'mon, can't you see that, this year, our roster is worse than last year?? I mean Rondo has improved very much, Ray plays a little better and after these 2 what's better than last year?? Posey left, PJ Brown left, Cassell (OK,he was still a player) left...

a lot can happen in the playoffs...maybe cleveland gets pushed to 7 by some team...boston needs to improve the FT shooting and cut down the turnovers
