Gotta go to bed, but I just do not understand how they can turn the ball over 23 times. Especially against a team that plays little or no defense. Also, Clippers killed the Celtics in the paint tonight.

problem is the cavs really have to lose one on this western trip to houston and san antonio....this loss was to the clippers....the same team that the suns sccored 140 points on in two straight games!!!!

eh... no worries.

They just happened to play a terrible game against a terrible team.

How can one stupid loss trigger all you "no more home court" people?

I mean come on, really?

The sky is not falling, calm down.

In order to get homecourt, they simply cannot afford to lose games that should be almost automatic W's. For the most part, the Lakers and Cavs have not lost those games this year. Maybe they will, but....

I remember last time serious talks about Marbury started......2-7
"The emblem of a warrior, it's the swagger of an athlete, a champion and dynasty, it's gifted, golden, genuine and glorious. It is a lower-case god. It's the goat. The greatest of all time. What's G? It is the heart, hustle and soul of the game."

I feel sorry for all the guys who are going to wake up in 6 hours, check the score and go... SORRY WHAT !?

I usually wake up in 3 hours after the Celtics' games... have had enough already... :-\

Homecourt advantage is overrated, JA Adande all those fools say that we need it to get to the finals. Like Doc said, "i'd rather be the 7th seed with everyone 100% than the 1st seed with everyone 75%"

How overrated was homecourt last year in the first two rounds?

At the rate we're going we'll be 7th seed with everybody at 75%

i think it is more boston overlooking the clippers on the last game of the roadie...they playerd too well in NO, dallas, Denver and phoenix to go in the tank..i believe they will destroy the pacers and pistons...but the clippers are awful...like the guys say...they are going to get everyone's best shot no matter what

  • You know my methods, Watson.
this loss came down to a few things...

- lack of effort (at times).
- poor free throw shooting.
- inability to stop the clippers bigs inside (HUGE problem).
- bad call by the ref at the end (BBD phantom foul).
- poor decision making by rondo down the stretch.

the good thing is that 1) KG will inevitably be back...2) marbury will push rondo (once on board)...and 3) mikki should actually help this team against bigger front lines (once he learns what is going on out there).

Backs against the wall, but homecourt is by no means over, yeah no KG for a while, but stranger things have happened. The Celtics are only 2 behind the Cavs in the loss collumn, it ain't gonna be easy, but it's not impossible.

I'll give you five TP's if the Celts
take the first seed in the East.
I can't really see it happening, even
with a win on March 6.
You can use this post for reference
lest I should forget  ;)
The positive stuff is we'll be even
more of an underdog going into the playoffs.
Man, I wish the playoffs were soon, with
a healthy KG and Scal, of course!
