wow mike really, really doesn't like melo.

I really don't understand why.  His game is almost exactly Paul Pierce's.  Maybe even a little more athletic than Pierce was in his hayday (and not as good in the paint).

Melo is the best comparison I have for Pierce, though (Butler in a distant second).
God bless and good night!

Anyone care to guess the total minutes that Pierce will play tonight?
Through 3 quarters, Cs up by 28 points, PP logged 33 mins so far...

My guess is that PP plays 5 more minutes for a grand total of 38.
Celtics fan for life.

This Thuggets team is playing full out streetball right now. Trash talk, ill conceived 1-on-5 offense, no real defense, and tons of stupid and hard fouls. I could never root for a team like this. They are doing nothing but talking to the refs and the Celtics. This is downright disgraceful basketball, and I am SO glad I don't live near Denver so I can avoid having to watch this to get my NBA fix.

We have our issues at times with the Celtics, but watching the Thuggets makes me really appreciate every player on the roster just a little bit more.

Also, with Melo, I think Mike hates the attitude and the talking more then anything. It's not his physical game, but something about Melo's attitude really rubs Mike the wrong way I think.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

who on our team is worse on offense than Leon?
Scalabrine, BBD, Walker, Giddons, and the ghost of POB.

You can't consider Walker and Giddens worse with their lack of playing time, POB was good on offense the defense was the problem, Scal is good as is Big Baby... I don't think I've seen Powe pass the ball on offense ever, and I'm a Powe fan.
POB was not good on offense. He turned the ball over at a ridiculous rate.

Walker and Giddens are fair game because they're on the team. Powe is better than Scal/Baby on offense, but it isn't as big a difference as it should be. Primarily because Powe is a black hole. But he draws fouls and gets offensive rebounds at such an excellent rate he is on the whole better than Scal/BBD on the offensive end.

HAHAHA nice play Carter... Unbelievable.

Get our starters out of there now. There's nothing left to prove these losers are done.

Yeah a worse foul than I thought. The Nuggest announcers are blaming the Celtics for having Ray in the game at this point lol.

I hope the bench does well enough that he doesn't have to come back in.  He could use the rest, it's too chippy out there to risk him unnecessarily, plus it would be good to get Walker and Giddens some minutes.

Wow looks strange to see Ray cursing out there. He must really be fed up with some of the BS they've put up with lately.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
