ainge is like houdini , i can't believe he pulled this one off. He basically signed a free agent and extracted a 2nd round pick for him.

Houdini would have landed us Raja Bell.  I admit it's a good trade; however, POB is still young and is still 7-feet tall.  It's not totally crazy that someone would take a crack at him.

Ainge wasted around half a million dollars and precious time from coaches and teammates. He extracted a heavily protected 2nd round pick we'll never see.

POB was a bad signing.

Are you saying we should fire Danny and replace him with Bob Cousy?

No.  I'm saying trading POB for a heavily protected second round pick is hardly magical.

POB's shown steady improvement:

06-07 Total Points for Season: 31

07-08 Total Points for Season: 35

08-09 Total Points for Season: 40

and there's still a third of a season left...

Hopefully the guy figures out a way to earn some run time

Well, it is sooo great that we kept Scal at 6"9" and got rid of POB at 7'...Yes! Even though POB's stats are as good as Scal, considering POB played 1/4 the time that Scal did...oh man am I glad Scal is back....why not start him at center again...? All of you who hate POB, well, tell me what tomorrow's lottery numbers are, I mean you didn't ever see POB play so you must have super powers of perception! Fortunatley the Celts didn't lose to the Lakers 2x because we didn't have any height...on the bench, well we did have Scal....! He should have started at center~right Doc..? Oh yea, no problems here, just because we don't have Posey or PJ, well Doc, hey you are the know-all guard, hmmm, I shouldn't be surprised that you don't ever run  any plays for the big men anyway, other than having them set high picks for the....guards....(where Perk always gets a few easy fouls on himself) "TOO much guard mentality???" Good thing KG runs the show from the floor. Well now, we'll see if POB gets to play in Toronto....Yes, I will eat my words IF he plays there and is as bad as everone thinks he is.....We'll see...!

Scal has multiple NBA-level skills (defense, outside shooting).

POB doesn't, or at least none that he's shown on a consistent basis over three NBA seasons.

Take a look at Scal's stats vs POB's. Every time I say this, people talk stats. I'll give them to you. POB 1st, Scal 2nd; Assists= 1.2, 2.8, REB, 1.3,1.3, Blocks 0.3, 0.3, pts 1.5, 3.1, steals .1, .2....Now remember SCAL has played 3/4 MORE time.....Scal has skills...haha, sure, he is worth his pay huh?  We are STUCK with Scal, and his 3 point shooting.......3 point Scal, wasn't he in the All-star 3 point shooting comp...?
