  • The good ole days.
KG would be the best 6th man of all time.  BBD provides what we need in the starting lineup.

(For nickagneta...  ;))

My only dispute is that I can't see KG as the best sixth man of all time if he's not even the best sixth man on this team - and TA is clearly more worthy.

The beautiful thing about BBD starting is that it has necessitated getting Powe some more run again.  KG's rightful spot on this team is in a battle with the notorious POB to be the second big off the bench (while Scal is hurt).

Other than that, right with ya, BT.

Why not BT,other teams are protraying starters as sixth men,Laker's Odom,Maverick's Jasson Terry, probably a few more i can't think of at this time.Oh yeah Ginobli for the Spurs.I think the 6th man award is a fraud these days.I know this thread is a joke but i wanted to bring up the 6th man fraud award.

KG has definitely lost more than a step and hasn't been the same as last year

Davis in the starting lineup is definitely the way to go as the celtics are getting too old and need some young blood showing the old guys how to do it

its amazing the celtics could win it last year playing KG as much as they did

if Powe and Davis and Scalabrine played a lot more and KG and Ray Allen less the celtics would have finished off the hawks in a sweep, the lebabies in 5, the pistons in 5 and the fakers would have been broomed away as well

doc sucks for not seeing the obvious, young players play better and will always do so it tight games and the playoffs

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
We must be winning again.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Even though the OP was being facetious, I'm not okay with this. Seriously, its making me angry.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I never understood why KG didn't take the tipoff (Perk does it most nights).

maybe O'Bryant could be our designated tipper

Maybe it's because he just doesn't practice it, but for whatever reason, Garnett has been underwhelming when he has taken jump balls.  Maybe he has a mental block about it or something.

I think the fact that teams are playing very good players as sixth men is a great thing.  Obviously it doesn't fit with every team, but if you can pull off bringing one of your best players off the bench, I think it gives a team a major advantage.  6th men have traditionally been very good players, so perhaps this trend is just going back to the old days, when teams had legit 6th men.

Considering Davis“fat level, perhaps his blood is not as young as it should be

Concur.  My friend who is a scientist said that when bears get the flu, they are banished from the forest.  Maybe they have the right idea.

Big Ticket this gave me a laugh, I had just read Nick's article and then saw this and thought it was too much of a coincidence.  Good thing I actually read before flaming.

Put Pierce on the bench too and let them battle it out for the 6th Man of the Year Award...It's good to have some internal competition.
