Too bad the refs are doing their best for the Lakers in Bynum's absence.

You really expect the grizzlies to win ?
the lakers body language is real bad, they look pretty deflated ever since the bynum injury(which looked alot like last years) although they have managed to pull ahead, its more a testament to how bad the grizz are
Honestly, I think we're better than the lakers regardless, so Id rather them be 100% so the lakers dont have any excuses when/if we beat em

Anyone else find it funny how the lakers have tried to steal our identity from last year? lol

(ahem) I am pretty sure you mean when, not if.

HAHA, goodness, no.  I should have put that in a different tense- I expect the refs to continue their helping throughout the next couple of games.

Kobe fell on him...looks pretty bad...much worse than I think theyre hoping for obviously..
If hes out for a significant amount of time boy oh boy the lakers fans are gonna be impossible to listen to, considering bynum is shaq, wilt, bill russell, patrick ewing, hakeem olajuwon and kareem rolled into one ::)

and dont forget moses malone. how could insult bynaum by leaving him out?????
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Is it just me, or does Kobe look more p---ed off than concerned?  It's like he's thinking: "geez, what wrong with you and your glass knees?  You're ruining my season."  At least some of his other teammates have the decency to look worried.

I'm not gonna say I'm happy that Bynum hurt himself-- its really too bad-- but this will help us ultimately, so I can't say I'm upset. Hopefully Bynum is out long enough that it costs the Lakers some wins, but I hope for his sake he's not out for the season or anything like that. If he was out just long enough for us to gain a significant lead over the Lakers in the race for the best recond, that would be great. Yes, we could finish with a better regular season record without Bynum being out, but an extended absence for him would mean we could get some "insurance" wins and improve our odds for getting home court throughout the playoffs.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I would not be surprised if Kobe was thinking that considering the way he acted at the beginning of last year esp. KoME is the appropriate word for him.  ::)

Looking at this video and seeing the amount of pain Bynum is in-- I feel bad for him. I'd rather have him have a long, healthy career and not win any championships because he didn't earn them, instead of seeing him have an injury-filed career; the type of career where media/lakers fans spend endless amounts of time looking back at what "could have been".

I'm more worried about the Cavs too, but if we beat them in the ECF and go on to face the Lakers, I'd rather have home court. Wouldn't you?
