Even though I hate the Fakers, I don't wish any of their players harm.

Bynum was kinda screaming in pain ... and I really felt sorry for him.  Hope he recovers from this injury (but not till a couple of weeks or so later) ;D !

I know I won't be the first to say it but I bet Lakers fans who were worried about playing us at our place are happy. They have EXCUSES now...Bynum was built up like a HOFer after last years finals. Apparently it was the equivalent to Wilt being injured.

Stupid Lakers and their stupid Laker fans...How can they even like that team?   ;D

Yup

he said that he doesn't think its as bad as last years but he could have fooled me with that Braveheart yell. I bet you pp said to himself "self, I came back and played in the same game after my knee was hurt."

I feel bad for Bynum and I would have liked to play against a full strength Lakers team.  The guy was playing awesome for the past week then this happens.  It's bad for him, bad for the league.  This guy will be a multi year allstar if he can ever stay healthy.  It kind of reminds me of the timing of TA's injuries- right when he starts getting over one injury and playing well, another injury sets him back again.

Did anyone else see Phil Jacksons press conference on NBAtv? he looked like he was going to cry and called it a "Great Dissapointment"   ... quite the oxymoron

Certain players seem to be injury prone. It is looking like Bynum might be one. It is still early in his career but these injuries are not boding well for him. I see as being all star worthy but not as good as Lakers fans want to make him out to be. The hype is out of control sometimes.

Im gonna call my Laker friend and just to make sure he stays away from sharp objects lol.

Good idea. I may do the same.
Only, my Laker friend lives in the
Dominican Republic. That'll be quite
the expensive call. Oh, whatever  :)

It is too bad. He is very important to their team. He seems like a real nice kid, always smiling. If we beat them, I want to beAt their best.

If this is career ending, then that is a different story. Screw them. As if I care.

What does always smiling have to do with anything? Perk never smiles, neither does anyone on our team other than maybe Pierce once in a while..

Darn those lakers are gonna miss that bynums smile

thats too bad.. i wouldve wanted to beat them with bynum. now they have a ready excuse if they lose. and have more reason to gloat if they win. will scal be able to play in the laker game? if not then we could say "hey, youre without bynum, but we dont   have scal ;)"

am i reading kobe wrong or is it like hes thinking "oh crap here we go again"

man.. the grizzlies stink.. why would you take a three on a 5 on 3 situation?

Hey call me a flipflopper or whatever.. at first I saw this thread and as I posted I had to withhold laughter...

Then, I saw the injury happen and [dang].  Not to sound like a tough guy or mitigate the injury but I had this happen before (hyperextension) and was never the same again.  It's a serious injury, and while it benefits us, [dang] it hurts (physically, for Bynum).
God bless and good night!
