Jameer Nelson is not an all-star, period

I think Ray should've been chosen over Rashad Lewis.
Anything is possible!!!

Good, now Ray can go to Mexico with his family and Rondo can head to the Carribbean and they can nurse some hurts and get some rest. I only hope Paul and KG can play extremely limited minutes and turn the whole ordeal into a golfing or sit by the pool vacation.

  • The good ole days.
My biggest beef is that David West made it over Al Jefferson... and heck, even over Kevin Durant.

Ray Allen not making it.... just too bad.  Most consistent player offensively for the Celtics this year, 50/40/90 percentages, and by plenty measures he is playing great D.

I think Big Al should've been the backup center, and if not him, then Yao before Shaq.  Shaq is selectively skipping a lot of games this year.... what about that makes him all star worthy?  Ugh.

Obviously the Magic are No1 contenders for the title this season, they have 3 all-stars in their roster... :P
That's a joke, the whole thing is a joke...

The All-Star teams have always been BS, but this takes it to another level.

I dont like the selfishness from celtics fans who prefer our guys not go for the sake of themselves...they want to go, and deserve to go...I can only hope this isnt accurate, because its a joke...rays probable last all-star game was a good one though, and he got snubbed from the mvp, and now snubbed from the game altogether

Mo williams torches Jameer tonight, book it.. now im gonna have a hard time rooting for the magic, what an absolute joke..JAMEER NELSON IS NOT AN ALL-STAR

I hope when they invite Ray for the three point contest he refuses, or have those players already been chosen? I pay so little attention to al the frivolity but do believe the propers players should get in if they have to play the stupid thing.

I think Lewis made it as a 'PF' in the East.  Not many to choose from outside of KG and Bosh.

not to mention the east now has no playmaking point guard on the roster now...they got ballhog AI, driving for contact medicore passing Devin Harris and Jumpshooting mediocre passing Jameer nelson...rondo would be dishing out the assists left and right

Ray not getting the nod is beyond your average screwing...And I'm really not thinking like a homer here.  All the guys that made it are good, but Ray's been playing at a really high level all year.  He deserves it over Pierce if we're choosing 2 for the C's.

Bummer...Maybe he'll be a late add again
Yup

At least Ray and Rondo will get some rest for the stretch run. But Ray is much better this year than last year when he made it. What gives?

Also I am not too convinced by the selection of Rashard Lewis. Could the East forfeit that spot so Big Al could be picked?

Who cares?  I'm just sorry Pierce and Garnett were selected.  I'd rather see them get 5 days' rest. They should leave the all star game to the Jian Lian's and the Iversons.

The all star game is crap.  Who watches?  I certainly don't. To be overlooked is a blessing in disguise.

they don't care about actually playing the game, they care about being selected by the fans as one of the best players. and it's a huge outrage seing as in how stat-wise Ray is the best of the big 3 through the first half.

Meh… Rashard Lewis is very overrated. Devin Harris has been sliding for a while now. Nelson is just playing above his capabilities right now.

I didn’t really expect Ray to make it. Vince Carter was probably a bigger snub.
