POB was a nice idea, but it's apparent it simply isn't working out...he doesn't have the DRIVE to be an nba player.
i see glimpses of talent, but it's always easier to show that when the game is over, you're leading by 20 points and being guarded by another 12th man on the opposing team. doc has stated there is "celtic speed and patrick speed..." and THAT will spell POB's demise.
we have an outstanding big man coach...yes, you can teach a kid skills, but you canNOT teach a kid desire. POB is NO robert parish...
POB isn't even an acie earl...
Exactly...kid has no heart, no desire to compete - when you watch him play in garbage time he treats it like its garbage time - a player hungry to get on the court would treat any playing time seriously...
POB is just one of the 100's of players to have made the NBA on talent, but to have fallen short of their potential because they don't really love the game...
Indeed. You cannot coach effort.
Paddy was lazy in college. He built his numbers in a conference that historically has no size.
And then, confronted with a seven-figure contract, he didn't find any intensity. There are good, hard working Americans across this country with no jobs and this guy doesn't think seven figures is a reason to work hard.
I find that morally offensive, frankly.
Cut him. Now.
