Whoever wrote the article "worst 27-2 team ever" was a genious

you know what's funny (or sad, depending on your intepretation)...i just reread that article this morning (form the LA Times, I believe).  and a lot of what that guy wrote is true...many couldn't (or refused) to see it then, but he makes a few points that are spot on, especially about our bench.

the bench truly outplayed the starters tonight. the celtics should really be ashamed of themselves. the starters for tomorrow should be:

Pruitt
House
Scalabrine
Powe
Perkins

bring in KG, Paul, Ray, and Rondo off the bench. maybe that could wake up somebody.

i understand this loss sucked....i am beyond aggrivated myself.  however, the bench has been poor and inconsistent all year and the starters have carried this team, and u want to bench them?  i STRONGLY disagree

not becuase they will win the game, but becuase it would send a message to the starters that all these turnovers and poor defense won't be accepted.

Our big three are tired. We are going to get everyones best game we need to play the bench extended minutes.Pob and Pruit need to see extended minutes and  also bring up Walker and Giddons and start playing them 5 minutes a game each. The starters NEED rest.

Why are ou rbig 3 tired? The season is 36 games long. If they are tired now, then turn out the lights.

the've played the most games of any team besides denver, and the most back to backs.

I think that makes his point a legitimate one.

it's ok. Donny Marshall told us not to worry... isn't that reassuring?

I think that I'm going to scream if I read one more suggestion on this board that Danny's Folly, O'Blount, needs more minutes as a result of these losses.

My God, people. Wise up.

I don't think the starters need rest considering they've sat most of the blowouts. Fatigue should not be an excuse even though they've played the second most games. I'm also sick of the "we're getting each team's best shot." If anything, the Celtics should be responding with their "best shot." It's really simple, the Celtics need to take care of the ball. Fatigue isn't an excuse for turning the ball over at critical junctures of a game.

well....this team looks like a team at the bottom of the east right now....we are officially in a basketball depression....energy is gone...defense is not up to par and the team looks happy with winning it last year.....the fire has gone out

That's what I was seeing until about the end of the third tonight, and the 4th. We just sputtered and died in overtime. We were starting to get it back together.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I am so sick hearing about the Celtics playing the most games -- waa waa waa. How did they win 19 in a row when they still had played the most games? Bottom line is this team is playing horrible basketball right now.

Yeah, and come playoff time they won't have any 'shots' left.
