When was the last time that a team that was dead last in  turnovers won the championship?
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Wonder what the Celtics' record is for turnovers in a season? Can Ray Allen guard anyone in the league anymore?

He'd be a great 6th man.

im not ready to start eddie house, TA, or pruitt over ray allen juuussstttt yet.  ;)

at this point...what do they have to lose by playing walker and giddens? really....can;t get much worse than losing to the warriors, knicks and bobcats all in one week...

Our big three are tired. We are going to get everyones best game we need to play the bench extended minutes.Pob and Pruit need to see extended minutes and  also bring up Walker and Giddons and start playing them 5 minutes a game each. The starters NEED rest.

Why are ou rbig 3 tired? The season is 36 games long. If they are tired now, then turn out the lights.

I am so sick hearing about the Celtics playing the most games -- waa waa waa. How did they win 19 in a row when they still had played the most games? Bottom line is this team is playing horrible basketball right now.

the've played the most games of any team besides denver, and the most back to backs.

I think that makes his point a legitimate one, doubly so with a mostly vetran lineup.

Very weak to talk about how many games they have played, fatigue, etc. Very weak.

That's easy for you to say. Your not out on the court, running your butt off.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

dunno, but we were close last year.

We always turn the ball over an annoying amount. I again theroize some of it has to do with our being a team that passes more per possession than most.

(side note: coincidence that our TO's per game are actualy down 3-4 during this slump but so is our ball movement and assists?)

is it the all star break yet?

.....and the trade deadline

How about the finals?

if we go to the finals without tweaking our current roster, im not confident (im not saying we couldnt win either).

also, what more does gabe pruitt need to do?

He looked pretty darn good in the first half, then got nailed back to the bench in the second.

Note to doc- time to let this kid play and see what he has or cut bait.

Im ok with either, but make up your freaking mind. is he part of your bench or a project prospect that needs to be moved for a veteran who can contribute?

decide soon.

You can always lose more games....

These young guys are not the answer. They are not incredibly gifted players being kept down by iron fisted, dunderheaded management. Danny Ainge is not some dumb ape. Doc is not an irrational idiot. These guys are not playing for a reason. I don't know what that reason is, but trust me, there is one.

Attention everyone advocating for the young guys/D-Leaguers:

The Celtics management and coaching staff know things you don't know about players, work ethic, skills, attitudes, and BASKETBALL IN GENERAL.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

POSTGAME NOTE: uh sorry tommy, i cant get behind your pick of rajon as player of the game. his 7 TO's more than offset his  spurt at the end of the third.

I'll take paul pierce myself.

this is very frustrating...i know you cant win the title in january but if they continue this skid they bring the teams like atlanta, detroit, orlando and the cavs into play...every team struggles and slumps but i expected more

Don't wanna talk about it.
(I said why not?)
Don't wanna think about it.
There's got to be some good reason...

Its the truth though, they played more last year than prolly any other year of their careers. They are all in their 30's. Pierce looks ok, but Garnett and Allen look real tired.
