I find the timing of this thread ironic as I am literally chewing on a coffee bean right now.

Anyone else do this?  I just like the taste and consistency.  I pop them one at a time.  Can't get more than 2-3 though, they are a little rough on the teeth.  And make sure you have floss!

Yeh, I do that on occasion (if a random bean is left on the counter after measuring out).  I can go kind of nutty on those chocolate covered beans.  Very dangerous.
Yup

Do you know what's great? Drinking some nice, dark coffee and watching the Celtics. Just wanted to share that.

I'm not a fan of any hot drinks especially in cold weather.

after the knicks game i didn't really have coffee as the desired post-game choice of beverage...

I miss my coffee maker that grinded the beans in the morning.  That made some good coffee.

I also miss Wawa.  That was good coffee.

I can't function during the day if I don't have a coffee to start. Used to always have a flat white to start off with, but lately i've just gone for the short black, shot of esperesso.

I only drink an extremely concentrated type of espresso, typical from Portugal (and widely consumed). It's called bica and I take 4/5 per day (usually after meals). Even the espressos they drink in Italy or Spain are usually too watered for my taste. It's served in these small cups:

Very difficult to be home-made properly (there are domestic machines, but the quality is not the same), so you have to go to a bar or a coffee-shop to drink it. All the others types of weak, fluffy, effeminate coffees, I strongly dislike.

Count me him as another beam chewer. Agreed with Redz; keep me away from those chocolate covered ones... I can't exercise self-restraint with them around me.

I will confess. I drink anywhere from 1-5 cups a day. I cannot function without a cup of joe. I typically like Allegro's coffees. The darker, more caramelly roasts are by far my favorite. Dunk's is just a terrible excuse for coffee. Most Starbucks shops burn their coffee. Unless you find and get to know a good barista, Starbucks is pretty meh.

I work at a coffee shop. I used to like coffee but I don't anymore. I like tea. I like lattes and cappuccinos. I like to mix syrups and make my own flavors. I like chocolate covered coffee beans. I like coffee ice cream if it has chocolate chips in it such as Mocha Chip, Espresso Chip, etc. I used to like coffee milk but I don't anymore. I do like regular milk, whole milk, I drink about 3-5 glasses of milk a day. I'm not talking about coffee anymore so I should probably stop. You can visit me at Joe's Coffee House in Hopedale, MA. Mention Celticsblog and your coffee is on me.
