Post your thoughts on Game 1 here.

Well, I have a second wind for the moment and I'm ready for some playoff action.  Huge night for Lester.  Let's hope he's up to the task.

Interesting selection having Ross on the roster.

GO SOX!

Stay healthy boys

Ughhh....Chip Carey announcing.

Not a fan.

Example:

"That ball is playable by Matthews"-  Chip referring to Jacoby Ellsbury hit off the bat

Clearly a gapper.  Drops for a double and Matthews gives chase.

Way to go, Chip!!  ::)

These guys are horrendous...almost have to turn the sound down. Where's Dave O'brien when you need him.

Did anyone else notice that when they showed Lester's stats in the first inning, they were actually Lackey's?  I hate TBS...

Lowell's injury really shows when he's at the plate.  He just doesn't look good at all right now.

He's looked decent in the field.  A bit surprised that the Angels haven't really attacked him yet with the bunt.

I don't know. Lowell's first swing off Lackey was probably the best swing off him all game by any player. The second at bat - Lackey is just filthy.

Nice job by Lowrie coming back and making a couple of plays.

Do it with the bat now.

I think the off-speed stuff is what's really gonna get at him.
