My impression has been that we are only drafting rookies...is that correct?

Only players who have declared for this past year's draft are eligible. I found this list compiled by Chad Ford just before the draft; I assume it's accurate:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2008/columns/story?columnist=ford_chad&page=InOut

Here are the results of the 2008 NBA Draft, in alphabetical order of first name. This should not be viewed as the comprehensive list, but it does give you an idea of the players who were selected. I imagine most of these players, at least the first rounders who aren't international projects, have a chance to make final NBA rosters.

First round:
Alexis Ajinça (C)
Anthony Randolph (PF)
Brandon Rush (SG/SF)
Brook Lopez (C)
Courtney Lee (SG)
D. J. Augustin (PG)
D. J. White (PF)
Danilo Gallinari (SF)
Darrell Arthur (PF)
Derrick Rose (PG)
Donté Greene (SF)
Eric Gordon (SG)
George Hill (PG)
J. J. Hickson (PF)
J. R. Giddens (SG)
Jason Thompson (PF)
JaVale McGee (C)
Jerryd Bayless (PG)
Joe Alexander (SF)
Kevin Love (PF/C)
Kosta Koufos (C)
Marreese Speights (PF)
Michael Beasley (PF)
Nicolas Batum (SG/SF)
O. J. Mayo (SG)
Robin Lopez (PF/C)
Roy Hibbert (C)
Russell Westbrook (PG)
Ryan Anderson (SF/PF)
Serge Ibaka (PF)
Second round:
Ante Tomić (PF/C)
Bill Walker (SF)
Chris Douglas-Roberts (SG)
Darnell Jackson (PF)
DeAndre Jordan (C)
Deron Washington (SG/SF)
DeVon Hardin (C)
Goran Dragić (PG)
James Gist (PF)
Joe Crawford (SG)
Joey Dorsey (PF/C)
Kyle Weaver (PG/SG)
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (SF/PF)
Maarty Leunen (PF)
Malik Hairston (SG)
Mario Chalmers (PG)
Mike Taylor (PG)
Nathan Jawai (PF/C)
Nikola Peković (C)
Patrick Ewing, Jr. (PF)
Richard Hendrix (PF)
Sasha Kaun (C)
Sean Singletary (PG)
Semih Erden (C)
Shan Foster (SG)
Sonny Weems (SG/SF)
Tadija Dragicević (PF)
Trent Plaisted (PF)
Walter Sharpe (PF)
Ömer Aşık (C)

The draft has stalled...

I sent RIPRED PMs yesterday, and just sent all managers in both leagues an email reminder.

Hopefully, he'll respond soon.

Gomz, just send a list of preferences to me.

That goes for everyone: if you think you might be unavailable when your turn comes up, please send me your picks, in order of preference. I'd rather that than you sending your picks to other players.

I have the #1 waiver pick in both draft. There are a few good players available.

If there is someone that you really like, make me an offer and maybe we can work something out.

First blockbuster of the regular season, then.

Hmm...  what was the consensus on the Smith / Bynum + Azubuike trade again?  I want door #2, I think.
