First blockbuster of the season:

Michael Beasley + David Lee for Chris Bosh

Josh Smith for Bynum and Azubuike wasnt a blockbuster?  lol

First blockbuster of the regular season, then.

Hmm...  what was the consensus on the Smith / Bynum + Azubuike trade again?  I want door #2, I think.

The smith injury certainly hurts

Whoever got Bosh is laughing all the way to the bank imo.

Eh...  Look at it this way:

Combined fantasy points, Beasley + Lee:  562.55

Fantasy points, Bosh:  421.85

Right now I'd probably rather have Bosh, but being a keeper league, Beasly and Lee may turn out to be the winner.  Even though it's not that one sided especially since Naturals will have to pick up an additional player when the pickings are kind of slim in a league this deep.

But then think whoever got Bosh is going to add someone else to the team from waivers. Plus you don't know what you get with either Lee or Beasley night in night out.

I take it you traded Bosh away then? I don't think it's a terrible trade by an stretch, but I'd have preferred to keep Bosh.

No, I got Bosh.  I'm happy with the trade, especially in the points league, where there are game limits and I have a deep team.  Varejao will take Lee's spot, and QRich or Adam Morrison will slide into the starting lineup until Francisco Garcia gets healthy.

In the Head-to-Head league, where there are no game limits, this sort of hurts.  I'll have to pick up somebody off waivers, where the best guy available is Marko Jaric.  Seriously.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.

Clearly, you mean first blockbuster of the season involving Roy Hobbs.  I tried to pry Bosh away as well, but no luck.  Jayhovaone has made some questionable GM calls over the past year.  I think we should rename his team from "wes mantooth" to "Elgin Baylor."
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Is Anthony Morrow not available? Suddenly he's become hot property.

Morrow was picked up within probably five minutes of his big first half the other night.

I personally am afraid to ever meet Roy in real life. Between this trade and his serious of trades as GM of Fake Portland, I suspect he has amazing mind control powers. He likely get me to sign over my house and car.  ;D

Man...  I wish the trade had posted.  Tonight's stats:

Bosh:  86.80 fantasy points, 40 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block

Beasley + Lee: 32.10 fantasy points, 16 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 0 blocks

Obviously, most nights won't look like that, but I'm feeling pretty good about the rest of the season.

Rodney Stuckey + Daequan Cook for Ray Allen?!

Apparently, I overpaid for Bosh.
