Twenty-four year old Bosh will be outplaying Beasley and Lee for the bulk of their careers.
ill still take the team!

Maybe individually, but collectively?  I doubt it.

Average fantasy points per game:

Bosh: 50.7

Beasley: 25.3
Lee: 34.3

That's a pretty fair deal, especially when Beasley is going to get quite a bit better.

Blake's 7th (Troy Murphy), 10th (Brendan Haywood) 12th (Renaldo Balkman) and 14th (POB!) for
Y'all Hate's 14th (Blake skipped?) and 16th (Blake skipped?) round picks and his '08 1st round pick (Kosta Koufos).

Though Blake parlayed that pick (Koufos) and his 2nd round pick (Mario Chalmers) into Robin Lopez and DeAndre Jordan.

We all know how this worked out. Y'all Hate rode this trade and sound picks throughout to a second place finish. What's more, he's still coming out soundly ahead this season, even considering Haywood's injury, and I, for one, don't foresee Lopez or Koufos eclipsing Murphy in the near future.

I appreciate the complement on the sound picks, because I think I did a fair job in the later rounds of the draft, but my picks up there arent right.  I never drafted Haywood or Balkman.  I'd have to go back to try and figure out who I picked, but I know it wasnt those two.  POB was obviously a bust, but the Murphy pick has helped me a lot.

I don't think I fell ass backwards into anything.  I think people undervalued the draft picks from this year.  We all knew this was going to be a deep draft and I didn't think the picks that I traded were worth as much as the picks that I received in this draft.  It is pretty obvious that I'm not looking for the near future, so Yall Hate and I both came out pretty good in that trade.

Sorry Blake but "ass backwards" was the perfect choice of words, and rather than the league undervaluing picks in the '08 draft, evidence points to you undervaluing your mid to late round '07 picks.

For example, if you'd stuck with youth/building for the future, you (or Edgar, sorry Edgar!) could have taken Travis Outlaw (6th), Rodney Stuckey (8th) and Spencer Hawes(9th) or Marvin Williams (6th), Andray Blatche (8th)and Nate Robinson (9th) or Brandan Wright (6th), Thaddeus Young (8th) and J.R. Smith (9th).

Would you think twice about any one of those package offers for Augustin in the here and now?

Which, isn't to say you haven't done a respectable job otherwise, Durant, Rose, Ford, Iguodala, Green, Augstin is an exciting core and a lot more raw talent than my one through six.

I never drafted Haywood or Balkman.

There must've been subsequent trades, that I didn't parse, but those where the players taken with Blake's picks. If you have the time I'd love to know how it shook out.

yea I looked for like 10 min.  couldnt easily figure it out so whatever.  I mean, the bottom line of your point was right, I got very good value on that trade.

Well, turns out I have no means of booting an absentee owner from the league once the draft starts.

So, we're stuck with a dead team in our league. [sighs]

Hey Commish, I found this in Yahoo's fantasy forums, though dated last year:

Send an e-mail to:

sports-fantasy-basketball@cc.yahoo-inc.com

Make sure to include the League ID #, the former manager's team name and Yahoo ID, and the new manager's Yahoo ID and e-mail.

AllAboutTheGreen's team has certainly been hit hardest of any by injuries - Arenas, Dunleavy, Redd, Josh Howard, now T.A., plus McDyess MIA while waiting to re-sign with Detroit. But the squad has a lot of talent, and an active manager could turn it around quickly.

All right, we'll give this a shot. I'll try replacing AATG in the H2H league with Gomesfan.

If it works, I have a couple other teams that will need replacement.

If you're reading this, and want to inherit a keeper team in a Yahoo! league, send me a PM.

I am not suggesting replacing other members yet, but there are some people in the points league who havent been there in 2-3 weeks.  thats starting to approach some bad levels.

If you can't find someone I'll manage a team for this season (at least keep the lineups in order).  I'm not really interested in keeping a team though.

Yup, that's it ;D... I'm just fighting myself against picking up another team with any commitment involved.  I'm sure I'll cling on once I'm there.

But like I said, at bear minimum I can adjust the lineups, which will make for more of a legit opponent.
Yup

I just sent you a PM, Redz. Sorry I missed this; hope you are still interested.

GMs, please do look into the league from time to time. We have a small issue that I'd appreciate your feedback on.

Anyone reading this who wants to take over a fantasy team in either head-to-head or points format, please PM me. We could use you.

Props to Roy and Cballa for their recors but crotors will come back from the hand of mike Dunleavy

2nd. In CB fantasy league
Only after Kaydoubt KW_10 by 5 games..see u in the finals.

I made very little to non changes like 3 or 4 in this both leagues that makes me even happier about drafting skillz  8)

6th en a league i dont draft, as invited manager, in the most handsome league
I am pretty much changing my team from LA

Not bad, Edgar.  I'm playing in six leagues.  I'm 1st in the CB points league (holding on by a thread), 1st in CB's Most Handsome (coming off back-to-back 11-1 weeks), 1st in the Staff league after bludgeoning the Crotors, tied for 3rd in the CB keeper league), and 7th in two other leagues (within 2 games of a playoff spot in both, despite being decimated by injuries).  I'm feeling good about my chances, especially so long as I keep getting to play against you.  ;)

Dont worry I will be there for u to try...

Youre doind great  specially after one year in the CB keepers where i stink.
I do like 3 bad trades on that one Haywood , gooden and others included.

Two first places is great for u
I have hopes to give u fight on Staffers if i only can beat dobbs and Cballa

oh well lets see what everybody else have to say

I am not having a good year.  Of course I am not paying as much attention this year.  To many times I have not gotten the players into the starting lineup.
