Katt Williams is HILARIOUS! I love it when he talks about race-relations.

Robin Williams does the best impersonations hands down. I know he's old and perhaps a little washed up at this point, but his impersonations can't be beat IMO.

Scals is clearly one of the the all-time greats...along with Richard Pryor and Sam Kinison!!!
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law. To pursue... natural justice. This is not vengeance. Revenge is not a valid motive, it's an emotional response. No. Not vengeance. Punishment.

Dave Chappelle...hands down

Brian Regan is also up there.

Mitch Hedberg will always be one of my favorites.

Eddie Murphy is the one and only, just because he went out on top it doesn't mean that he's still not of that status, he's MJ and crappy kids movies are his Wizards and Bobcats.

After him Mitch was pretty good, I'm a huge fan of Norm MacDonald and Tracy Morgan but those are an acquired taste, especially Morgan, it seems to me that very few people see through the shock humor to his true genius. Russell Peters and Jason John Whitehead are good for Canadian humor fans. Russell Peters dominates Canada right now actually. Seinfeld's a genius, the thing I love about him is he never wastes a word, he's so good at it it's hard to even watch sometimes.

Dave Chapella is my #1... then Richard Pryor, then I kind of lose it, not sure who is next.  Maybe Chris Rock.

hmm... it's kind of funny that all three of my votes are black comedians, but I'm whiter than a Kennedy.  Says something about how universal humor is, huh?

Slightly off topic but everyone needs to check out Zach Galifinakis and Jim Gaffigan.  The names alone are funny, but the standup is great.

Of course you have to start with all the classics...steve martin, cosby, pryor, carlin...as well as eddie murphy, mitch hedberg, and chappelle (bit for bit, he may be my favorite comic of all time).  But nowadays i can't get enough of Zach Galifianakis.  He is a bit out there, but hysterical.  fat jesus and nathaniel buckner is just too funny.

Not funny, but interesting transformation.

Lol that's awesome.  I knew he seemed like an act, but I had no idea he was entirely a character.  Fascinating.  Hollywood... I was going to mention Kaufman, but you beat me to it.  Very cool
