I think Pruitt might be the first guy to get cut, since Eddie House can back up Rondo, and both Allens can fill in when absolutely necessary.Wonder where Scal fits in. Miles complicates things, hopefully in a good way.
I hope in a good way that you mean forcing Ainge to look into trading Scal. I'd like to keep Pruitt so Ray can stay with working away from the ball to getting open shots. I hope for Darius to make the cut so we can trim our roster into playoff material. No jynxs to be made, but in case 1 of the Big 3 goes out, who fills the void? Tony for Ray. Miles or Giddens for Pierce. Powe for KG. I hate having to be a Scal hater, but he just doesn't fit into the mix IMO. BBD too is lost in that jam. Powe is clearly a talent point or two or three above Davis, so he's safe to me. I wanted Ratliff for that backup C, but he's in Philly(By the way watch out for them this year) and idk who's left. Maybe PJ could come back and play less mins, like just playoff time, and Scal and BBD could be traded somewhere for a draft pick or something?
I wouldn't be so quick to assume that Powe is ahead of Big Baby on the depth chart. Talent-wise, I think Baby's the better player. Let's see, he's a better passer, back-to-the-basket scorer, and interior defender. He plays with emotion and passion, is an equal rebounder and has a smoother jump shot with better range. Leon Powe is another high energy guy, who works harder than anyone, and plays with a similar emotion. However, he is a poor facilitator, inside defender, a very limited range, and it seems like he throws the ball up every time he gets the rock. Obviously, he is more athletic, but I wouldn't say he's several notches above Big Baby. I think Big Baby is the better player with a higher ceiling, and he will prove it this year.
