Why would this trade be vetoed?

Ok commish, you are assessing value by where players are drafted correct? That was the grounds in which you have vetoed before...

This trade is lopsided.

Eh... 3rd, 4th, 7th, 10th for 2nd, 4th, 11th, 14th

Cross out the two 4ths, and you have:

2nd, 11th, 14th for 3rd, 7th, 10th

That seems fair, or at least within the realm of possibility.

Not based on what has been vetoed in the past.

Consistency please...

Commish?

Consistency says a trade like this is accepted.  I am not sure what trade you are thinking about.

I would like to request Atlanta and Detroit to voluntarily revoke this trade

I've already given my rationale for making the deal, and I'm not going to reneg just to save face.

I also don't understand how this is such an egregiously lopsided trade, although perhaps I'm just an idiot.

No, it's really not that lopsided at all. He went younger and feels Gordon would fit better with his youth movement. I agree, it's not that lopsided of a trade.

I bet Orlando, New Jersey, and New York are all hoping you rescind it, too. ;)

You should make your own lopsided trade to protest.  I'll give you Hakim Warrick for Bogut...and Wallace.

The following trade has been completed (pending league approval)

Bobcats trade:  Chris Bosh
Warriors trade: 3rd round #12, 3rd round #24, 4th round #28

You can save your typing.  I will not be accepting it.

Hey there.

Wow.  Really going back to that.

a 1st for two 3rds and a 4th

vs

3rd, 4th, 7th, 10th for 2nd, 4th, 11th, 14th

Yeah, I can see why they are similar.   ::)

I'd be a bit concerned about starting Hassell.  I mean, sure, he's a decent defender, but he also averaged 2.0 points per game last season.

Where in the rounds matters...

This trade was also rejected:

Team A trades: 1st round #17
Team B trades:  3rd round #12, 3rd round (#24), 4th round (#28) a 10th rounder and a 14th rounder

And based on this getting rejected, Atlanta is not getting enough for the 2nd round pick

Nice.  I don't think your team is the unbeatable super power that at least one other of our GMs does, but it's an excellent team.
