The Heat will trade a 13 and 15 to move into the 12th round.

Low-balling people already? ;)

Nope.  Just trying to set myself up not to have any picks the days I will be gone.  I doubt I will have time to put together lists.

I have 4 picks (two 13s, 14, 15)  Looking for 2 picks today.

The Bucks get: Carmelo Anthony and Chris Wilcox

The 76ers get: Josh Smith and Mike Miller

----------------------------------------------

Spurs send: Damien Wilkins and 15th round(3)

Pistons send: Jerry Stackhouse and 13th round(22)

I like the first deal for the Bucks, although I understand the 76ers motivation.  I think Wilcox gives the Bucks some toughness, and Carmelo gives them an absolutely elite scorer.  I'd normally raise chemistry issues, but the Bucks traded one jerk for another.  Mike Miller is a seriously underrated player, though.

I like the second trade for the Spurs, in that I think Wilkins is the king of empty stats.  Stackhouse is more of a contributor on a "win now" team.

At first I thought that said 'Joe Smith' and though you and the 76ers were out of their gourds.  Makes a little more sense after my 4th reading and seeing 'Josh'.

Milwaukee, WI-

The Bucks are happy to announce that they have reached an agreement on a trade that will send Josh Smith and Mike Miller to the 76ers for Carmelo Anthony and Chris Wilcox. We first want to say that we are big believers in Josh and mike. It was terribly difficult to give up two guys the caliber of Josh and Mike. That said we believe we are getting back two terrific talents that will help round out our team. In Anthony we think we have acquired an elite scorer with the ability to take over games, get to the foul line and young enough to still get better as a player. We love Wilcox's ability to run the floor at his size. We can score in the post a bit and finish in transition. We think he'll be an excellent addition to our frontcourt with Speights, Antonio McDyess and Hilton Armstrong.

With our first pick in the 11th round the Bucks select Brian Cook

TOR -- Chauncey Billups, Jared Dudley, 12 (20), 13 (11), 14 (20)

That's probably fair value for both teams; I just hate Iverson.  I think this trade improved Orlando's championship hopes by a significant margin, even though Young is a nice young asset.

Yes I agree, Pairing Chauncey and Timmy is a winning combination.

Great trade Gains.

I think Orlando is getting the short end here.  Iverson is better than Billups and Young is better than Dudley, and the picks are so late that they don't have too much meaning.  To be fair, I'm pretty high on Thad, but I still think that Toronto is getting a steal here.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Iverson could probably take Chauncey in one-on-one, but I think that in terms of team building, Chauncey clearly has the edge.  To me, Chauncey is definitely a better option next to Duncan than is AI.

Tor- We are very sad to see a player of Chauncey's Caliber leave this organization.  He was a big part of our plans for this season but we feel we were able to aquire a player of the same Caliber in AI as well as another started for a backup and picks.  Thaddeus is a Guy that we had our eye on in the draft but were not in a position to take him.  He is a young guy with playoff experience and was one of the big reasons that Phili gave Det and billups  a run for their money in the first round this year.  We expect Thaddeus to continue to grow and be a large part of our playoff run this year.

Yup but if you look at my bench its alot of young guys with questionble offense.  We envision our bench to work like the celts where at least one of our big 3 will stay in the game at all times hopefully two.

so at one time we might have Augustin, carter, alexander, Jamison, and williams off the bench.  Something like that

Not to mention who sacrifices to play defense on this team? I'd be a bit nervous about perimeter penetration with that group and only Sean Williams off the bench to possibly erase mistakes. Also this seems like a decidedly uptempo team now that is going to get up and down the floor. Where does Z's halfcourt offense fit in?
