Under the cover of the darkness..... the
ORLANDO MAGICS select one of 3 players left on the board to have played all 82 games last season. The shot-blocker known as
Adonal Foyle
(yet another guy i woulda liked to see the C's take a shot at in real Free Agency).
"We've had our eye on Foyle for a few rounds now," said MAGICS GM Gainesville Celtic. "People tend to overlook him because of that ridiculous contract that the Warriors gave him a few years back, and that he's a career backup... but he's a deft shot blocker having averaged 1.5/gm throughout his career. And he's a slightly above average rebounder (esp. if you look at his per/min #s) and will be a great addition to our locker room. We think that Joakim Noah and Shelden Williams are gonna learn a lot from working with Clifford Ray and against Foyle & Duncan in practice everyday."
"His minutes might have been down the last couple of years but 2 years ago he was stuck in Golden St. for Don Nelson who hates big men like I hate cats. Last year, as we said, he played in all 82 games but only saw about 10 min/gm, because he was playing behind the best young center in the NBA, Dwight Howard."
In other news,..... the ORLANDO MAGICS announced that they're looking
(a)
to get back into the early 13th round in exchange for a swingman (other picks would need to come ORL's way)
(b)
for a team looking to deal a PG and lookng for swingmen, bigs and/or youth.
