House was almost a must because of his ability to spread the floor off the bench. In that regard, he can replace/minimize the loss of Posey.
One thing I haven't seen on here is the value of Allen on the defensive end of the floor. In his limited time in the finals, I believe he gaurded Bryant, and quite well. In that regard, he replces/minimizes the loss of Posey. He can defend very well, and Pierce can play SF, if necessary.
I said on an earlier post that signing these two together is close to the same player Posey was. Unfortunately, we are talking about this because Posey got away. He will be very difficult to replace. However, we now can fill most of the same skills, only with multiple players. Not the best solution, but maybe the next best scenario.
In my opinion, we really need a natural SF and a full-sized big to fill out the needs of the roster.
