It's official:

http://www.nba.com/thunder/#

The logo is a bit boring  :-\
I hope they add a cool secondary.
That's a terrible logo. Worst logo in sports. What are they? The OKC Triangles?

Wait a minute! Worst logo in sports?
How about...

if you're a Seattle Supersonics fan, how much more angry does this logo make you?

that and the fact that the browser window still says "Seattle Supersonics" at the top.  jeez...

I saw 100 better logos on the Flicker group dedicated to designing a logo.  It looks like someone mashed together the NYK and CHA logos... booooring.

Along with the Charlotte Bobcats they are the ugliest and worst franchise in the NBA.

Poor Kevin Durant.

I just watched the press conference video.  I don't think Orange is the primary color.  It looks like it's blue.  And it's actually not that terrible of a blue color.  I'll just say that it looks mildly better when it's not on a massive orange background like currently showing on NBA.com ...  the blue primary is a little nicer.

nothing too upsetting about the team but not too great either.

Yeah i'm not sure what's up with NBA.com showing it as a big orange backdrop.   The press conference confirms the primary color (and the uniforms, I'm sure) is blue.  It's the same color of blue on their state flag:

not the best pic, but:

... it's kinda growing on me

We'll see how the uniforms look.

OKC's logo looks kind of like a WNBA logo, no slight to them. But yea, it is boring. The name Thunder is kind of boring also, it reminds me of one of those created teams you could make on 2K. Similar logo to.

New England Patriots \\\'01 \\\'03 \\\'04 - Boston Red Sox \\\'04 \\\'07 - Boston Celtics \\\'08

I love Tony Allen!

Someone actually posted the logo
in another thread but I can't
remember who did or in which thread.

I did. 6 days ago. I was hoping that it was just a secondary logo though.

This logo is worse than most *minor league* logos.  It's unfathomable that they couldn't come up with something less lame.

It would be like me using this as the Angry Pickle logo

The font for the thunder in the logo looks like the generic nba font.
