I just don't see any room for him on this roster as currently constituted.

Wallace was all the rage last summer.  On a team that likes defense, Wallace and Tony Allen make more sense than our draft picks. Maybe Ainge will package our draft picks and Scal for a BIG.   Posey would be a good mentor for Wallace.

I might rather have Wallace for a couple hundred thousand than Tony Allen for 2 mill. Especially if it helped keep Posey

I was checking out the NBA-DL site to look at Brandon's stats and while looking at the league scoring & rebounding leaders two interesting names popped up in the top 30 in both:  former celts Justin Reed and Kedrick Brown.  Wallace was 21st in rebounding and 78th in scoring.

I just don't see any room for him on this roster as currently constituted.
We have these guaranteed on the roster:

KG,PP,Ray, Rondo, Perk, Scal, BBD, Powe, Pruitt,  and Giddens - That's 10

We will likely only keep 2-3 others (Posey, House, and possibly one other free agent off last years team) Maybe this Walker kid.

That leaves us  another spot minimum. Considering we realistically will only sign 1-2 of the free agents from last year (Hopefully Posey and House) that leaves us 2 spots. One for a big. One for a backup PG. I would for sure rather have a nice backup PG and a nice backup big, but it would sure be nice to have this kid around in case Walker doesn't look better, or we only sign 1 of the FA's. He would be very cheap and we know more about what we have in him than most players. I am thinking we will trade either BBD or Powe in the offseason as well which will change the look of things.

Once again. He might not make the team, but he looks to be improving and has a great NBA body for a big 3 spot type backup. Then when Scal is gone next year (surely will be traded away to a team wanting an expiring contract) we may have something for his slot on the roster. Just cheap talent with upside...

should give this kid another chance. Invite him to trainning camp at least and if he makes it , he will take 700 k

The guy almost made it last year before getting cut

Danny should add him. 6;9 co ordinated, plays within his limit, athletic, quick and could play multiple positions

like justin reed, he's simply an after-thought...time to let him go.

Just don't see a need or spot for what he brings.

everyone is stating we need a big sf who can defend. This guy is quick and athletic. He could also give you some scoring at tip ins.

I'm not saying to sign him but just invite him to camp again

Its mysterious to me how you sign an unproven commodity in obryant(i have faith though) but not give a guy like wallace another crack(one or two injuries last year and he would have made the team)

Its also disturbing people putting scal as an legit backup sf. You think he can guard anyone??

I don't see what Brandon Wallace has shown that make people think he is an NBA player.  I don't see it.  No way Danny signs him.

I definitly think they should take another look at Wallace.  I wouldn't just sign him but invite him to camp and see how he's progressed.  His wing defense  could be useful without Posey (not that he's as good as Pose).  Plus I loved how he played the wing with a centers Mind set.  It's too bad he didn't come along 4 years ago, they might have been able to develop him into a good role player.

I'm fine with bringing him to camp but there is 0% chance he makes our roster. Our team is pretty much set unless Danny makes some kind of semi-major move. I think we'll leave that last FA spot open for PJ Brown or Alonzo Mourning to join late in the season.
