[dang]... Courtney Lee is gone :( Chalmers still in though.

Say no to Koufos.
p.s. - And to Jordan, Walker, Greene.
pps - And to the Congolese Garnett!

There's a lot of wings available and Ibaka. That's what I'm looking at right now. DJ White too. Oh and Jordan if he keeps slipping which looks likely right now.

What are the available wings? It feels like there's a few left. Anybody offer a quick list?

No need - thanks Chris for that list that does the trick nicely

Nets have the most young, ambiguous, big man talent in the league: Krstic, Sean Williams, Boone, Jianlian, now Lopez and Anderson.

Hello 25 wins

8 picks before Boston and 5 good swingmen on the board, so that's looking possible.

Update: 7 and 4.

I'm predicting Batum for us...what do you guys think?

That's who I'm hoping for.

It looks like Ibaka won't be coming to the NBA from what I've been reading around. I think it would be a waste of a pick.

  • The good ole days.
I am officially adopting Portland as my Western Conference team to lose to the Celtics in the Finals next year.

I don't want them anywhere near the finals.  They scare me more than any team in the West.
Ditto

That wouldn't be a good matchup for the Celtics. The only good matchup they got is Paul Pierce, Portland don't have anyone who can guard him yet (Webster and Outlaw improving fast).

Portland has a good chance of winning the West too.

I don't see it this year.  Don't think Oden is going to be quite there yet.  But 2009-2010..... yikes.

Chad Ford says...Great pick for the Sonics. I know that Sam Presti's heart was with Westbrook. While many think this is too high for him, I don't. I think he has incredible upside and he's a lock to be a great defender. He should develop on the offensive end, too. Overall, he has a chance to be a better version of Rajon Rondo.
I don't know about picking Westbrook but I love that Rondo is now a measure...

Garnett would eat Aldridge's lunch.

I want Batum (if he gets past the Spurs) or Bill Walker (promise from Detroit?).

I hope we draft a center with the 30 pick and not a shooting guard. Perkins shoulder scares me.

Ah, I was one of those that wanted Lee at #30. =/

If we draft Ibaka, don't we have to wait 4 years? http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/nba_08draft/post/Hold-off-on-Ibaka?urn=nba,90496

Could it be possible that Gerald Green might slip to us? Portland was rumored to like him top 5!

Portland is the obvious choice on which team will get better the quickest, but I want to go on record to say that I think the Bobcats will be the sleeper this year.  I have that much faith in Larry Brown.

Chips falling for CDR to be around at 30?  That would be ideal for the Celts in my eyes.

I like Chalmers better, but i'm not averse to picking up a swingman who can score off the bench.
The problem is that the Celtics are kind of stacked at that position so I'd think a backup PG or big man would have a better chance to get some minutes and contribute.
