  • You know my methods, Watson.
i remember that sunday afternoon in 1986 when larry ran to the left corner and buried that three pointer that pretty much put houston away like it was yesterday (i was 14 years old)...it will be nice to have that feeling again.  ;)

I've been giving Tommy Points for three pages now.  What a game.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

one goal at a time.

goal #1:

Finish the third strong.

play them even for the next three minutes.

stay in the moment, don't get ahead of yourselves.

Gotta love this Lakers fan, keeping it real:

Yes, the referees HUGELY affected the outcome of pretty much every game in this series, including this one. Every reach-in and touch foul has been called against L.A. Even during the blow out. Notice how in game 4 when the Celts caught up, they got every call to help them.

look at the C's -- no cocky smiles, no chest thumping -- pure focus and professional attitude at this point.  Keep this up to the end.

Very professional tonight. Great job guys.

........................

Lakers still have no hope of making a run. Incapable of getting stops, rebounds and nothing is working offensively. They're done.

Phil is going to start moving into his teaching role. He's going to have his players he wants to count on next season on the floor and learning through embarrassment and heartache the pain of losing and to drive them next season.

Same here.  Just spreading it around.  The more the merrier.  This trumps every good Celtics moment in the past 20 years put together.

Can we safely say that each of the Big 3 has shed their perceived "rep" as choke artists this series?

I was worried KG might go out with a whimper but I am ecstatic with his performance in this game.

I haven't sat down in 3 hours and don't even know what to do with myself.  With all the recent championships, this is by far the sweetest.

What do you guys think -- should Doc make a sub to rest some of the starters, or no subs until Phil makes subs?

Poze could go in for a while to rest PP .....

We needed to have the 1 hour rule loosened for this game

Stupid.

Than they would go for Lakers to force game 7, not Celtics.

14 points, 5 assists, 6 steals.  Not so bad, RR.
