So, so proud of this team...we are ripping this game away from the Lakers and the refs, and the Lakers are barely putting up a fight (refs are still getting their shots in though).

NO QUIT HERE, WE'RE ALMOST THERE!

Steven Tyler's kid? Liv Tyler? Well not sure if she can play but she would look good in a Celtics uniform.

WIN THE THIRD!  No funny business tonight boys, just a celebration, c'mon.

Is this real or a dream?  I'd pinch myself to find out but I'm numb from goosebumps as it is.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Just continue the defensive pressure and get solid shots.

follow that, the game is ours.

I am aching for a build up of this lead.  C's -- stay tough.  Win this as convincingly as possible.

I look for Kobe to go into "shoot first and never ask questions later" mode.

If we were picking an MVP for the first half, I think it would have to be one of those 6-way ties.  Pierce, KG, Ray, Rondo, Posey, and House have all be phenomenal (and I don't want to leave out Perk's defensive effort, either).

good points by doc and mike breen

that has been the hallmark of every celtics championship... control the glass, play strong defense, and share the ball. from cousy to the captain, sharman to shuttlesworth thats how the boston celtics win titles. 24 more minutes like the first 24 and we'll get ours.

game on
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Don't let them take threes and we win this game.
