TP, Redz ... truly great stuff, lol!! You never cease to not amuse me! And hey, for all we know the C's could be secretly accessing this thread, and finding within these sage words of wisdom, (put forth by the truest of hearts and with the purest of intents), the ultimate motivation to see them through to the Championship! (Or ... I could just be full of crap!).

Truly ... and far more than I deserve, (as many will attest). CelticsBlog going above-and-beyond ... why would any serious, green-blooded fan ever go elsewhere?!?

After a recent rash of overly-hostile posts by myself, (while in a state of objectivity-overdose), and despite the wishes of many, (for obvious reasons), I was even offered the services of the bodyguard below:

What could possibly be more thoughtful than that, I ask you?

You mean this isn't a Laker troll?!? Sorry, it's getting hard for me to tell them apart, lol! That's one lucky little baboon! (Which is supposedly just what my Dad said when first he laid eyes on me following my birth!)

I was inspired by Wdleehi's video:

       Phew!

Jaws clamp down on bone
A struggle for life and death
One lucky baboon!

Thanks, and big #519 right back at you for the baboon-centric haikus.

BTW Roy Hobbs is the offical winner of the haiku contest. He wins free calligraphy lessons.

I dunno where he will find free calligraphy lessons but Im positive he deserves them.

*Bow*.

I would like to thank the ten posters who voted for me, out of the hundreds of people who visited this thread.  It was a hard fought haiku contest, but I just went out there and gave it 110%, and thanks to God, I was just fortunate to win.

"Both posters typed hard."

next question

"Both posters typed hard."

Eight pages filled up
so much time and effort here
my real job suffers

Carried off the court
Wheeled wincing through the tunnel
Walks to victory.

They tried to guard Ray
and Paul and Kevin, but then
could not glimpse the Powe.

Seventeen is more
than a magazine.  It is
the dream of many.

Twelve players, one coach.
Assistants and trainers, and
Endless smiling fans.
