The arrogance of these Lakers will be there undoing. They played an injured Spurs team. When Manu played well they won. The C's have owned the west this year. The owned the Lakers as well. the only difference in the matchups is Gasol and they had Bynum then who was comparible in a different way. Though Pau is a differnt player KG owns weaker players. The Cavs were every bit as long and had Ben Wallace bothered KG. The Lakers have no one of the sort.
As Ray goes so goes the C's. When he plays well they are unbeatable. As for playoffs Kobe is the only one with any deep experience here and we faced the same with Lebron. IMO, Lebron is every bit as good as Kobe. Look at the numbers.
I would not be surprised to see the C;s go up 3-0, or 3-1, and then fight to win in 5 or 6.
Regular season records and home advantage do play large. the arguement against should should look deep into the history of the nba and forget the Mavs.
IMO, the pundits will eat crow in the same manner they have with the Pats. The Pistons were the C's toughest foe and they got them in 6 with the help of key Pistons wearing down.
I know Isaih Thomas as a reference is not good but I buy his theory about the east.
