Im gonna try periodically throughout the day.  I got nothin better to do. YOu never know if they are releasing a few at a time or something.  They do that with concerts sometimes.

But does anyone know when the Lakers tickets go on sale for games 3, 4 and 5?

well i just got home after being screwed. Not only was I one of the first people there i ended up with the last overall chance. Not only that but one of the guys gave me a wrong ticketmaster number (not sure if it was on purpose) and by the time I got a hold of an operator it was too late. The raffle tickets is a bad system if your there first you should have first choice. I guess ticketmaster has bought into the nba lottery system even if you should have the first choice you get screwed....not very happy right now

FYI....  I live in Seattle so I was curious.   There are tickets available through ticketmaster's ticketexchange program for games 3 and 4 in LA.  Price range $400-$4000.   Obviously not relevant to you guys, but... you might want to check out the ticketexchange for the Boston games in the next couple days if you're willing to spend hundreds.  There are surprisingly a lot of tickets available for the Lakers games (around 500) and seeing as the Boston games JUST went on sale... it's going to take some time until they trickle onto ticketexchange.

I'm kinda of sketched out by the sheer amount of tickets on StubHub and all the ticket agencies before they're open for sale to the general public. I'm really curious as to see how all those "Need/Got Tickets?" people out on Causeway get tickets.

I don't know much about StubHub.  Is it legit?  Do they just mark up the price significantly?

Tickets were completely sold out at 2:40.  I talked to a Tickemaster rep and she said they were gone.  There was a problem with their systems and she couldn't even see the tix until 2:04PM.

Real bad experience this afternoon.  As many people have said, I couldn't even have the option to buy tickets online until 2:06, and by then I figured it was too late. 1/2 the problem is those ridiculously long "security words" they have you put in. It's a totally bogus system to begin with. Not to mention the Celtics ticket number was busy from 10 minutes before until 2:10 when I got through, only to get hit with a voicemail message.

And like is said in here, balcony seats on Stubhub are $300+. It's really too bad that the people who actually want to go to the game can't get in, while the the folks seeking to make 500% profit on each ticket are the ones getting through.

Oh well...

I got my opening night tickets from StubHub so I know it's at least legit. It's kind of like an ebay for tickets where people purchase tickets and are able to put them up for sale. I'm just curious as to how many of those people obtained tickets.

I can't even read the security words half the time.  I'm pretty sure one of them was "fart suicidal".   But people develop programs that can interpret those and mass flood their systems... so they have to keep making them more and more advanced (and more and more unreadable)

I was ticked too, option to buy tickets wasn't available to 2:06 (like others have said) and even then all of them were already gone.  Pretty pathetic, I knew ticketmaster's servers wouldn't be able to function properly.

I'm also somewhat ticked since I had bought tickets to the ECF game 7 the day before the C's won game six.  Don't get me wrong I'm ecstatic they're in the finals it's just I would have like to have gone to my first playoff game let alone a game seven without spending my life away.

I was hammering the reload button on three different browser tabs and ended up locking myself out. Whoops. This was around 1:58 So after I lock myself out I scramble to get my laptop running. I log in to the site a few minutes later... maybe 2:04... and they're still not selling them. I figure something is screwed up.

I start hammering the reload button and eventually it does pop up. Now I'm at a disadvantage on my laptop because I can't stand touchpads... it takes me a few seconds to change the number of tickets from 0 to 2. So I submit that and the CAPTCHA comes up and I can not read the second word at all. I have to click the button to get another one. This costs me more precious seconds...

So yeah, no tickets for me.

Same here.   >:(  I had the choice to either buy game 5 tickets or game 7 tickets...with the way the Atlanta and Cleaveland series were going, I figured there would be a game 7. Guess that's what I get for not believing in the Celts to finish off the series in 6.

$300 for one of the worst Balcony seats is ridiculous, even if it is Celtics-Lakers. Factor in the 10% surcharge, $17 shipping (yeah I used Stubhub before for Game 1 of the Atlanta Series -- the only way I could get tickets), then the $25 parking (if you want to park there and pay it), drinks/food/etc. you're talking $400 -- for 1 ticket! For a 9:00 PM game? Why are these games so late?! So the West Coast can see it when they come home from work by 6:00 PM?? Jordan's Bulls finals were at 8:30 PM if I remember correctly. Why not at least start it then?

Right now I noticed that there are a few tickets just a tad under $300 right now. ($275 and $287) There definately was not yesterday and the day before. I guess the scalpers are getting worried they might not sell the tickets in time.  ::) I wonder what will happen if there are so many empty seats because scalpers aren't able to unload these in time? Street scalping?

The funny thing is, if this were game 6, Celts up 3-2 or game 7 with a chance to win the title that game, I'd think it's worth it but when it goes that far, you'd probably see the cheapest balcony tickets being $500+ on stubhub.  >:( I guess I'll just have to watch it at home where I have a much better seat and view on my 50" plasma than I will get far the mirrage $300, really $400 deep, corner balcony seats.
