another terrible call. when you see ray yelling at the refs, then you know it's bad.

Hamilton's hands and arms are constantly in motion, slapping and pulling at whichever Celtic is nearby.  I am quite positive it's annoying and distracting.  He reminds me of Laimbeer in that regard.

Did you see Ray's D after that bs call though?  He locked him down and didn't let him rip and rake him to get open (yeah it's a bad pun).

14 total minutes of play from the bench in the first half.  Doc's leaning heavily on the starters, but he kinda has to here.

Yup ... PJ was struggling and Sammy was a disaster. Still don't get why we're not seeing Powe or House ... baffling to me.

That was a highly stressful half, but it really was entertaining basketball now that I think of it.  People dunking on people's heads, alley-oops, three balls, crazy shot clock buzzer beaters, an amped crowd, a pesky fired up road team.  This could be a great second half, too bad I'll be too stressed out to enjoy it.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I kind of expected that. This is a game 5 on your HC. You have to fight with your best players.

How about Kendrick Perkins tonight?

Rip is such a faker and flopper ... flailing his arms around like a scarecrow! Man, I hate that masked freak!! Can't believe these idiot refs get suckered into his acting!

if richard hamilton were really in that elevator with those storm troopers, he'd have pushed them all over then fell out of the elevator looking for a foul

Seeing Stuart Scott just reminded me of a joke heard on the winer line today on WEEI, "I heard Stuart Scott is getting a divorce, his wife found out he was Seeing someone on the side."

Celtics need to figure out a way to break Rip's nose through the mask. Celtics have interviews with KG and Bill Russell at halftime, Detroit has a feature on a piece of plastic wrapped around a player's face.

Halftime adjustments for the Celtics -

On offense - Put the ball in Paul Pierces hands and let him make good decisions. Get Ray the ball and tell him to keep shooting. Watch the floor spacing. Keep moving without the ball.

On defense - guard Sheed on the 3 point line

On Rebounding - keep it up, Perkins.

On Coaching - need to get more out of the bench, don't be afraid to use BBD and Eddie House. SC appears not have it anymore.

Good Luck.

Terrific start, keep it up, the third quarter is where they should assert their dominance.
