as to your second point, what on earth does what you think wee wanted have to do with my argument? there quite separate, and you quoted my post and put in that i had said i wanted sam to change his ways. thats quite false, and unfounded. me and wdl are to different posters, with different opinions, despite your effort to lump all three of us in as doc bashers because we don't agree with you.

whats ridiculous is how you try to twist post together and make up arguments to shoot down that no one put forth.

also, crownsy, you started off by defending wdleehi. at a certain point, you all of a sudden started criticizing me for lumping you in with that poster, but still at the same time continuing to defend him....

so it is pretty difficult to simultaneously keep track of where you decide to distance your opinion while at the same time challenge me on my original point.

if you only want me to respond to your only position it would be helpful if you didn't keep jumping back in forth between the two...

here's how we can boil this down.

1) the need for Sam to have played more time with the starters is simply not clear.

2) what you would have had to do during the final three weeks of the season to have gotten this time is very questionable.

3) what it would have accomplished getting him this time with the starters is also severly in doubt.

i mean, what exactly would have happened differently if Sam had gotten 4-6 MPG with the starters in the final weeks of the season. would he look for his shot less? would he have been able to chase Gibson down better as he got open for those three's?

the guy was a big factor in winning two games in the CLE series....so if anything we have already gotten more than we could have hoped for out of the signing. the rest at this point it gravy as far as i'm concerned.
