This win was uglier than Sam Cassell. It would have had to go to 3 ot's for a team to get to 100pts.

i'm guessing ray allen will be in the gym in about 25 minutes after this game searching for his jumpshot...

Lebron misses a quadruple double by 1 assist and 1 rebound (12 points, 10 turnovers)

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
There's no way Lebaby will have two back to back games like that, but neither will Pierce and Allen.

He played like he should be in the bathroom throwing up.

Garnett made us proud tonight, 2 big time shots late in the game. I was afraid with Pierce and Allen MIA that Garnett would still have trouble trying to take over because it doesn't seem to be in his nature but he did great. Our defense carried us and we dodged a bullet with Lebron missing that lay-up at the end. Important but ugly win.

That's game 1 in the bags.  We can break this down all we want but a win is a win.  We haven't been tested too much in close games this year so it makes this win that much bigger in my own eyes.

any truth to the rumor that he'll be wearing number 8 the rest of the series...

God I hate this year's Paul Pierce. He hasn't gone to the basket all freakin' year.

Oh I WISH we never signed Will Bynum and Tony never got in trouble and blew out his knee that first time.

****, im not even going to respond to this post, it doesn't deserve it. this is what bibby was talking about  ::)

p.s something needs to be done about the 90 second rule triggering off when you post and it gives you the review  warning. it resets the timer. ive been trying to post this for 20 minutes now, once every 4 or 5 minutes.

No idea what you're talking about. I watched just about every game live over the last three seasons, and this year's Paul Pierce is awful compared to what we have now. Sure, his defense is improved fairly significantly, but he isn't the Paul Pierce we really need at times.

so because he doesn't drive and turn the ball over every play vs 3 people he's having a bad season? your going to have to explain to me how his great passing, rebounding, still leads the team in scoring, improved his defense to an elite level, and bought into a team concept makes him  a player "you freaking hate"

i'll tell you what, you take your paul from last year driving into the lane every play and playing no defense, personally i'll take the new paul who is an incredible team basketball player.

And to say he didn't go to the hoop "all freaking year"? wow, just wow...

I can't comprehend how you could have watched all the games (a justification i loath, everyone on this blog pretty much wathced all the games) and not recognize the leaps paul has made this year.

KG played great tonight. Nice to see him stepping up and on national tv in the play-offs.

How did LeBron miss that last shot though?

Oh and TP for Posey for a nice all around night.
