I didn't think blake was (insert word here) enough to do the same type of trade again after I explained to him how robbed he was getting. I assume everyone had (insert word here) to realize how terrible the value blake got from Edgar's deal was and that no one would be (insert word here) enough to get a future first round pick for that much unfair value.

I already know this trade won't get vetoed which is absolutly ridiculous. I should have realized that I should have been the one that had the power to veto instead of giving the power to the league. It's obvious that people do not care enough to veto a trade even when someone is getting fully taken advantage of, not once, but now twice.

This league has turned out awful and I accept part of the blame. It's no longer even close to what I imagined in terms of fun/enjoyment.

Because of this, I will be stepping down as both commish and from this league. You guys can find someone to take over my team.

Good luck mkogav, you seem to be the only one with (insert word here) and understand how ridiculous these trades have become.

Hilarious. Who didn't see that coming?

That said, I oppose a ban on trading 1st round picks at this point, or any veto of y'all hate's trade. It's a least half as terrible as Blake's trade with Edgar.

So to be clear: Blake has currently Igoudala, Durant, Ford, Dalembert, and Green he'll be selecting again in the 10th, twice in the 14th, and in the 15th and 16th. That will give him ten of his starting eleven. He'll pick up the last starter and his bench off of the waiver wire.

P.S. Blake, I am hoping you might respond to explain your motivation RE: these last two trades. I know Edgar LOVES your strategy but I'm confused, and feel you could've gotten much better value and still acquired two future 1sts. (i.e., supply/demand - A number of GMs advertised their willingness to sell and so far you seem to be the only buyer.) Or to put another way, you could've had my '08 pick and a couple of late picks (say 11th and 15th?) for your just your 6th or 7th. (And I bet another GM would've topped that offer...)

That's correct.

P.S. This:

In my opinion it would have been fine w/o the 10th pick going to Hate, but what's a little more water through the dyke at Spaarndam?

Deserves a TP.

I think it's a moot point since the commissioner just quit the league. And for the record I can sympathize with his frustration. Whatever, the league's flaws, CD5 was only trying to set up something fun for the community.

But at least we all stuck to our principles.

Cheers, I'm out,

Why on earth would you quit?  Just because someone made a trade that you think is lopsided?  Should you have offered a trade to me then if it is so lopsided.  Seems silly that a couple of trades could make you leave as commissioner.  I have no plans on leaving the league now or in the future. Quitting now is silly.  This league should still be a lot of fun.

We just need to get through the draft plz.

We have all spent too much time doing this thing to just toss it away.

Well This is how all people who nows a little about the site think It will go
and thats why I try to help from the beginning

One thing is to try to point that a trade is absurd
Another is to make an act because ur wills are not being made

Its inmature and there I said it

I did the Mod Job as a desire to keep this in order because our ex comisiones wasnt able even to put a draft day, order, rules or anything. And I think there are a lot of class act people in here that deserves that respect.
So
I plan to be here If a pick is made I will post it
If u want to play
Im In
If u dont want to play
Im out
I just going to do what the people want.

Saludos

Because this league is now ridiuculously flawed. Now anyone can take advantage of any unaware owner and no one will veto any of it and there are tons of other flaws too. I can already see people tanking the season and me forcing to take away picks and everyone even getting more mad.

I didn't offer you a trade because I was trying to help you out, not take advantage of you. Plus with everyone threatening to leave every other day, I can only imagine what it will be like when the year starts and people start realzing how bad some of their teams are and realize the only way to rebuild it is by waiting years through the draft. Half of this league is already mad, and a lot of them aren't even the ones with crappy teams, imagine what happens when those crappy teams get.
