Every move we have made in the Bill Chisholm Era has been to get under or keep under the tax. So this move is not going to happen, folks.

I think they could find a way to do a trade with HOU and get under the tax threshold by the end of the season. There are ways to do that. I just don't see why HOU would do it and more and more posts seem to suggest that HOU feels they can contend this season. That may change along the way, but for now, it makes sense for HOU to at least give it a go with what they have.

Maybe by the trade deadline things are different, but I only see Houston trading us KD if White is included right now since I feel they want to compete. That may change and I think it is possible things go bad in Houston including for our old coach Ime, but right now that is not the case.

They already have Amen Thompson, Marcus Smart, Reed Shepard and Bogdan Bogdanovic at the Guard position.

Smart and Bogdanovic are fringe NBA players older than White, and Thompson was a full-time forward until last season (and probably should be long-term even though the PG experiment shows his versatility).
