This.  He & his team knows his decision is the biggest thing left in the NBA offseason news cycle.  They are gonna milk this decision to death.

The is to me is  funniest thing.  Yeah it is a big story but  him treating this like the "Decision"l is a joke on him.  He isn't even a top 20 player anymore and half the fans hate him.

https://www.hoopshype.com/rankings/players/

CLE wants him but he will go wherever he has the best chance to win a ring.  That is not here, folks.  Woe to the team that signs him.  Father time is eating away at him.

He is the anti- Celtic to me, and I don't want him on the team.  A modern day Wilt, who was supremely talent but often disappeared in big winning moments in the Finals

I saw some youtube video late yesterday from a guy who is a non-LeBron basketball fan. He had a pair of clips for CLE talk radio basketball stations where they weren't even sure if they wanted LeBron. The guy was claiming there wasn't that much demand to bring LeBron back.

You get a lot of good stuff with LeBron but you get a bunch of bad stuff too -- where everything revolves around him in terms of the media cycle, outside noise, and now his agent has a podcast criticizing the team to protect LeBron from criticism.

There was this feeling of - CLE is good already. Don't upset the apple cart.

Even more than negative or positive reactions to LeBron joining, it felt like ambivalence. Folks just do not care. And it is not just CLE (his home team where his biggest legacy is), it is a bunch of teams.

San Antonio already rejected LeBron. They thought he would be a negative influence around their young guys.

Denver and Minny make the most sense to me. Both teams antsy to close the gaps between them and SAS/OKC before their windows close (Jokic age/Edwards' frustration level). Both teams have the usage to spare.

Trust me, they want him.  I am  sure some don't but a lot the CLE news is salivating over him returning home.

In this era of parity, getting a talent at LeBron?s level for cheap can be the swing vote. If the Cs get LeBron, I fully expect us to be favorites for next year.

Unfortunately, I do not think LeBron goes here. I do not like the guy but I can get behind rooting for him as a player.

Brian Windhorst on LeBron James free agency: I think Boston would rank 30th on his list. I really honestly do. He hates Boston.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Omg that would be nauseating

Agree. I never want LeBron in a Cs uniform.

Why?  You would rather the C's get the 6 seed?  You can hate Lebron all you want but if he wore green I'd 100% root for him and this team.  I don't care who the C's sign as long as it's to help win a championship.  That's all that matters in the city of Boston.  Who gives a flip if we hate him because of all of the prior battles.  Do you think Rick Fox cared about moving from the C's to the Lakers.  The only way this offseason would be considered a success is if a signing like this happened.  PG and LBJ > JB.  PG < JB.  If bron signed with the C's they would be the favorites in the East and could hang with anyone in the West.  So as much as I've hated LBJ over the years I would 100% root for his arse in a Celtic uni.

And this is why I think the C's are in consideration.  I doubt it will happen but if LBJ won his last championship with the Celtics it would definitely be more rewarding then winning it with any other franchise other then Cleveland.  The CAVS are where he should sign.  I pray it's not Miami because I hate that franchise more then any franchise in sports and will throw a party with Riley retires.

I hope we get him, and bench him for the full season.

Him hating Boston makes you believe he is considering the Celtics?  ???

How are the c's 30th if they are in his top 10 destinations?

The Celtics are not a top destination for LeBron. He would never come here.

He is trolling people?  Does anyone care where he goes, I sure don't but I hope it will be the HEAT or SIXERS as they deserve him.   I think having him maybe result in a title but he rarely leaves franchises in a good place after wards of course, his ability to force teams to do stuff is diminishing,

He?s almost certainly made his decision already. Him & his team are just drawing it out.

I don't see it as trolling,  cause Tatum would have to be in on it too. And why would Tatum do that?

I don't expect LeBron to "decide" to take his talents to Boston.  There are several other destinations that seem to make a whole lot more sense.  But I don't buy this from Windhorst.  He is speculating based on how he thinks LeBron feels about Boston.  I don't buy that Windhorst has any idea where LeBron will go or would go, in general or specific to Boston.  This is just Windhorst being Windhorst.

Had BOS gotten Giannis, then I think LeBron to BOS was realistic.  Maybe even if they had kept Brown.  But BOS didn't get Giannis or keep Brown, they got Paul George.  At this point, I don't see it.  Makes no sense to me based on the current team.  I don't see any of Tatum, George, or LeBron playing guard.  All 3 are kind of swing Wing/PF Forwards.  I don't see the fit.

When the Goat of your generation, asks you out you go.   Maybe, Tatum thought he could recruit him.  LeBron does those concerts then tells the Mouth of LeBron aka Brian Windhorst that Boston is at the bottom of his list is absolutely trolling fans.  I for one, am glad, as I never want to see him on the Celtics.  That is music to my ears.

I agree 100% this is just an event for him to be the center of attention, again.
