Not a great first half for Reed Jr. 4pts/4rebs 1-6 from the field.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Lendeborg for Golden State is looking good. Nice shooting stroke. Looks like he can play both Forward positions.

Barry Jackson: Heat summer league coach Wayne Ellington told us in the postgame briefing just now that Conwell's most NBA ready skill is his shooting: "He's got a natural shooting ability and that's something you can't teach." He said Conwell handled better than he expected. 21 points & several nice passes tonight, as he played both on and off the ball.

Sounds interesting. 6-4 guard they took early in 2nd round. I was shocked to see he played for 4 different colleges in 4 years though. South Florida to Indiana State to Xavier to Louisville.

I wonder if he can be a Jodie Meeks type player for the Miami Heet. Meeks from Kentucky with the 41st pick. Conwell from Louisville with the 36th pick. Meeks went red hot his junior year though lifting his scoring from 15ppg to 27ppg. Conwell was 18.8ppg as a senior.

Darryn Peterson is a scoring machine. 11-21 from the field, 4-7 from 3pt. He had 28pts in 27 mins.

Acuff Jr reminds me of Keyonte George when he first came into the league. Just a tad shorter and not quite as quick. He is going to be a good player.

Watched the Memphis/OKC replay on Prime. Cam Boozer looks like a SF out there. High BBIQ, but very average athletically. He finished with 15pts/4rebs/4ast in 24 mins. I?m sure he will be a solid player, but I don?t see a star.

Mara looked average. He really is not a good rebounder. Was getting pushed around. He finished with 10pts/3rebs/4ast in 22mins.

And he was a -1 for the game, compared to Ace Bailey who scored 10 pts and was a +10?Darryn?s 8 turnovers to 2 assists might?ve had something to do with it  :police:

I think he decided early he was going to shoot it every time he got the ball, probably determined to prove that he deserved to go number one
