Yeah I was fine with him besides the fouls. He was one of our only main players to not have a negative impact while on the floor. And the fouls is tough when the first playoff matchup is Embiid.

I feel good about him and Robinson as our duo. And for those who hate 3s they are a good duo as well. But no doubt we will need offensive creation because neither of those two will really create it themselves besides offensive boards.

That said, it will be a by committee approach. The 3rd leg of this is a stretch guy - whether it's Garza or someone else. I think they'll ride with Garza for now - though they'll probably look to upgrade at some point - and then Amari Williams is the project who could potentially be part of the group or maybe force out one of the above if he develops.

Queta can do a lot more offensively. He has a hook shot, can take a dribble or two and get to the rim, can make free throws. Robinson is a lob threat, period.

Honestly, Queta should still have some leeway next season when he is still on a minimum contract. The dude was 4th on the depth chart and thrust into a starting role. When he did play, and he wasn't in foul trouble, he was extremely valuable. I am really happy to have him signed long term.

Exactly.  Queta lost his matchup vs Embiid, but he was supposed to lose his matchup vs Embiid.  Embiid when healthy is and has been MVP quality.  JB lost his matchup with PG and White lost his with Maxey is why we lost.  (I know I am simplifying it, but that we got beat down low vs a healthy Embiid is not a surprise.  We did not make up for it on the perimeter where we needed to given the relative talent there.)

I think it shows appreciation to Boston for believing in him, developing him, and giving him the opportunity to earn a contract. He was on the fringes of NBA rosters for years, but now he is going to make more in 27-28 than he made total so far in his career.

He probably wanted to guarantee the money instead of risking it. If he got injured this year, he'd be looking at small minimum contracts for the rest of his career at best. Instead, he made sure he got his life-changing money.

I don't think that makes him a dumbass.
