I am honestly not worried about PG as long as he is not hurt.

I think he is going to have a very good year in Boston. Will challenge for 3rd team all NBA. Will fit much better with JT.

I am more concerned about Joe, his rotations, White and the young players really stepping up.

If Boston did the Portland deal that was reported it would have been Grant or Sharpe taking Brown's spot. That would have been a disaster. PG is better than both those dudes.

He's not a stiff,  he's a highly efficient #3 scorer and elite team defender,  who won't have to log a bunch of regular season mins because of the youth we have on the wings.

I commend your optimism but personally I think I have watched my last Celtics game.

Call me a bad fan but I'm leaning this way too, I won't stop being a fan or stop watching entirely but I probably am gonna feel less interested in this season.

If people want to be optimistic, fine, but it's becoming clear this ownership group is already starting the measures to cut costs and simply keep this team competitive, but not go all the way for a championship.

I never imagined Brad Stevens could have an offseason like this or a trade similar to Nico Harrison, yet here we are. There seems to be a lot of issues happening internally and it's also weird that apparently every single rumor from our end is getting leaked to the media.

while u are a baby here compared to us

there is nothing wrong with changing to just a CASUAL fan. you do not have to be hardcore anymore year round.

now if you turn into a BANDwagoner and find a new team each year then we will have an issue.  ;D

Die hard fan since 2002.

I still love basketball and will probably just start rooting for the Spurs - Wemby is going to be something special.

Fan since 1981...Lived through Len Bias, Reggie, the decline of the Bird years, Pitano and his disaster, missing out of Duncan, Durant, the lean years with Pierce, the KG era, the 2010 game 7 loss, trading KG and PP for scraps, the growing pains with JT and JB, the 2022 finals loss, the 2023 ECF loss and the title. The title in 2024 and now this.

This is just more of what makes me love the Celtics. Cold Ohio nights in Feb. I know I can turn on the Cs and they will provide me some warmth.

They will get through this also. Might be next summer but they will come out of it in good shape. Heck, this upcoming season might be something we don't even expect.
