People can say what they want about being a Celtics fan!! I am a 3rd generation fan. But, when a team gets sold, and new ownership does NOT want a Winning team, they know people will always be fans!! They will still buy the tickets and $30 for a beer and hotdog!!!
They don?t care about you!! The only thing a lifelong fan can do is decide to make a stand!!!
I say no more!!! They don?t want to win, that is not fair to the fans.
This is not all just anger, it has a lot to do with sports. If the owner wants to have a losing team he has every right to do it. I also have every right as a fan that has spent a lot of money on this team to say no more.

I'm surprised. I don't like this deal.
George has been performing way below his prime in Philly. He's 36 yo. and has had a lot of down time the past 2 years.

I was trying to figure out / update my small forward rankings over the last few days. I had dropped PG13 to low 20s earlier in the season but I moved him up to #18 after his good showing in the playoffs.

That is right around MPJ / Dillon Brooks level.

Useful. Good player. Good starter.

But still a huge downgrade on Jaylen.

Biggest winner of this trade? John Henry, now the second-most hated owner in Boston.

This feels like a gross overreaction to the new CBA.

Without JB and his midrange game we'll surely watch a heavy dose of 3s again next year, led by Tatum chucking up 10 3s a game. Ouch.

PG13 likes them 3s.

Took 14 FGA last year. 7 of them were 3s.

Half his shots are 3s. Yipee ... more 3s!!

Still think Brad has another move in him for the picks and someone on the roster.

He knows this move does not improve the Cs.

Although I will not miss JB playing hero ball

The Celtics just punted on the next 2 or 3 seasons.

Made Philly a wagon by basically giving JB away

Now your 2 main scorers are coming off an injury and the other is a walking injury.

This is a full blown rebuild.

A rebuild with no good assets or young players. It?s one thing if you?re Utah and you?ve got young payers and picks. Celtics have neither.

The trade stinks but they still have Tatum (a top 10 player) and White, PP, etc.

They will have a winning record. I don?t know if that still is a rebuild in your eyes.

This is still a 55+ win team.

He should've just went all in on Giannis, including Hugo and Baylor and picks.

If Brad doesn't do anything afterwards with this 76ers return, then this was a highway robbery favoring Philadelphia.

Cap experts, help me understand how the order would work for this -

How do we (or is there a way) to complete this trade, sign Robinson, and get a player like Murphy with the TPE? Who else would we need to trade?

NBC Sports Boston is saying Boston is still favoured by DraftKings ahead of Philly to win the East.

Even after the trade.

We would need to trade Jayson Tatum, Paul George, or Derrick White.  That is it.

What an awful trade.  Would be somewhat understandable if JB was publicly demanding a trade and this was the best we could muster.  But we not only lost the best player in the trade, the draft compensation is not adequate in a non-rebuilding situation.

My trust in Brad which was unwaivering to this point has taken a massive dive.

That is if they stay healthy and PG can play 70 games.

That is if JT achillies is not an issue

That is if Robinson does not miss time

That is if the bench take HUGE strides

That is if White becomes White again.

That is if PP can perform well as a starter

Lots of ifs. I think 50 wins and a 5 or 6 seed in the East.
